Times Revealed for NEW 100th Anniversary Nighttime Spectaculars in Disneyland

2023 is going to bring a whole bunch of NEW things to the Disney parks!

Over at Disneyland Resort specifically, the parks will be getting NEW nighttime shows in 2023, both of which will help celebrate the Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary. While we already had the names of the new shows, now we’ve got their show times so you can plan those visits!

Wondrous Journeys

First, over at Disneyland Park, there will be a NEW nighttime show that’ll debut for the 100th Anniversary called Wondrous Journeys. The show will celebrate 100 years of Walt Disney Animation Studios storytelling with projections, music, and fireworks (on select nights). It’ll last around 13 minutes.

The show is set to debut on January 27th, 2023. The show time for its opening night (the 27th) will be 9:30PM (and there will be fireworks that night). Disney lists the showtime as 9:30PM again on the following day, January 28th (and the show is set to have fireworks that day as well).

World of Color — One

Over at Disney California Adventure Park, you’ll find the NEW World of Color — One show. This show will again celebrate 100 years of Disney storytelling. The show will have moments from fan-favorite films including The Lion King, Soul, Moana, and others. It’ll last around 24 minutes.

This show will also debut on January 27th. There will be 2 showtimes that night — 9PM and 10:15PM. Those same showtimes are listed for the 28th.

As of right now, showtimes for these new nighttime offerings don’t seem to be listed past those initial two dates, but that could change soon as Disney continues to update their calendars. Be on the lookout for more information as your trip get closer.

Keep in mind that Disneyland will also be getting some special Castle decorations in honor of the 100th Anniversary. And we’ve already seen special merchandise released for the occasion at Disneyland, in Disney World, and online.
