We’re Trying 2 NEW Eats at a Reopened Disney World Restaurant

We visited Blizzard Beach for its reopening day, where we checked out the new Frozen-themed decorations at the Tike’s Peak area, tried out some new drinks, and said hello to Santa!

LottaWatta Lodge

Now we headed over to LottaWatta Lodge for some food and found there are some new items on the menu. And since we’re Disney Food Blog, we had to try them out!

First up of the new items was the Shrimp and Grits for $12.99.

Shrimp and Grits

This had a really great flavor when the shrimp, Canadian bacon, grits, and corn are mixed all together! The bacon has a nice little spice to it, and while the grits are on the soupier side, their flavor is delicious. The shrimp is perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. Plus, you don’t have to worry about taking off any tails!

The other new item is the Wattamelon-Passion Lemonade for $6.75 without alcohol or $14.50 with Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

Wattamelon-Passion Lemonade

This drink is watermelon and passion fruit mixed with Minute Maid Lemonade with a green sugar rim. We have one thing to say about this: SWEET! This drink wasn’t super strong in other flavors, it was just flat-out sweet. So if you love really sweet drinks, you may really enjoy this.

Lastly, we grabbed a returning menu item, the White Cap Flatbread for $11.99.

White Cap Flatbread

This pizza has chicken breast, bacon, white sauce, parmesan, bell pepper, and tomato on top, and we think this is overall a good meal. We really enjoyed the vegetables on it, but do feel like this could benefit from some more flavor and spice.

Anna and Elsa snow fort

We also spotted new menu items at I.C. Expeditions and Frostbite Freddy’s so keep an eye on DFB for those reviews coming soon!
