This NEW Disney World Treat Has Blueberry, Pineapple, And … a Feather?

Grab your stretchy pants — Disney World has a lot of holiday treats to try!

The holidays are here!

There will be plenty of cupcakes and other sweet treats, and there will even be some savory snacks. We’ve made our way into the parks today to taste a bunch of the delicious new items, and Aloha Isle was our first stop!

At Aloha Isle Refreshments in Magic Kingdom there have been THREE tropical treats with names inspired by The Tiki Room, and now they’ve added one more!

Aloha Isle Sign is bright and shiny!

Of course, we had to stop by to try it out! The line was already extending out close to the Tiki Room when we approached.

Lots of folks want to try the new Dole Whip!

The new Dole Whip treat is called the Pierre Mon Ami Float. You might recognize Pierre as one of the three host birds from the Enchanted Tiki Room attraction, he’s the Macaw with brilliant blue feathers. So, it only makes sense that the float honoring him is… blue. (Because all treats during this 18-month long celebration have a blue-criteria they have to meet.)

It is described as a Blueberry and Vanilla Swirled Soft-serve Pineapple Float garnished with a Red Feather for $6.99.

Normally blueberry is one of those generic flavors that doesn’t really come across as anything specific but just a whole power punch of sweet. But that is NOT the case with this refreshing treat! Oh boy, this new player might just be a contender for the top spot in our Aloha Isle line-up!

The Pierre Mon Ami Float has a strong blueberry taste that pairs very well with the vanilla ice cream. If you are a blueberry fan, this is a must-have! The tangy Dole pineapple juice provides that familiar citrusy finisher that you come to expect from the other floats sold and adds a nice balance to the sweetness of the vanilla and blueberry.

The chocolate red feather is nothing special. It’s a cute garnish, but doesn’t really add to the treat (we still prefer the cake-pop garnishes because that’s like two treats in one)!

Our first love is still the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, here, but now we have another solid treat to visit Aloha Isle for!

Keep following DFB, because we’re trying LOTS of holiday treats today!
