How to Get a Refund for the CANCELED Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World

We may have been talking about the holidays recently, but Halloween is in full swing!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicked off last month and we brought you along with us. We showed you the exclusive treats, the entertainment, the merchandise, and so much more. We even told you if it was worth the price tag! But now, one night of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has been canceled due to a hurricane.

Hurricane Ian has been making its way towards Florida and in preparation for the bad weather, major theme parks including Disney World, Universal Orlando, and SeaWorld have closed for a couple of days. Because of this, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on Thursday, September 29th has been canceled.

Anyone who has a ticket for this night of the party will get a refund. If you bought the tickets directly from Disney using a credit card, debit card, or Disney Rewards Card, the refund will be automatically processed back to that original form of payment. It should show up within 7 business days. Disney did mention that the refunds may take longer to appear on your statement depending on the financial institution you use.

If you bought the tickets from Disney with another method of payment or that transaction included other products, you should contact Disney to help with the refund. You can find resources to get in touch with Disney here.

For guests who purchased tickets to the party via a travel agent, travel wholesaler, or other third-party travel seller, you should contact that travel seller for more information on the refund.

If you have any questions about your refund, be sure to reach out to Disney and they will assist you. All other dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are sold out, so unfortunately you may not be able to attend the party this year. In the past we have signs in the park saying that there is extra availability for that night’s party, but we have not seen that so far this year.

Disney World will be closed on September 28th and 29th and we’ll continue to bring you updates about Hurricane Ian. For more updates, check out the posts below:
