NEWS: 3 Behind-the-Scenes Tours Are Returning to EPCOT

Ever since the reopening of the parks more than two years ago, we’ve slowly seen things return and reopen.

We’ve had countless restaurant and resort reopenings, and more entertainment options and character hugs came back earlier this year. We’ve also seen the return of many “enchanting extras” like tours and hard-ticketed experiences. Now, three more of these offerings are coming back to EPCOT!

With the ongoing transformation and the 40th Anniversary later on October 1st, it’s a big year for EPCOT as a park. Now, we’re excited to announce that three tours are returning to EPCOT on October 2nd.

First of all, the fan-favorite Behind the Seeds Tour is coming back to The Land Pavilion. This hour-long walking tour “gives you an up-close and personal view of amazing plants, insects, and fish throughout four state-of-the-art greenhouses.” Before the pandemic, you could sometimes spot guests on this tour as you rode Living with the Land. According to the Disney World website, this tour will cost $35 when it returns.

Behind the Seeds Tour

SCUBA-certified guests will be happy to know that EPCOT Seas Adventure — DiveQuest is coming back as well! During this tour, those who are certified can explore the 5.7-million gallon saltwater environment at The Seas and get to look at the marine life up close. This tour is $219 per person.

And finally, EPCOT Seas Adventure — Dolphins in Depth will be available once again. Guests who embark on this excursion can meet bottlenose dolphins at The Seas and talk to the experts who care for the dolphins daily. The 2-hour encounter is very limited each day and will cost $199 per person.

These returning tours will be on sale starting on August 22nd, so mark your calendars if you hope to book one for an upcoming trip. Behind the Seeds requires valid theme park admission and a park pass reservation. Reservations for the tours can be made through the Disney World website or the My Disney Experience app.
