The PeopleMover Narration Has CHANGED in Disney World — Listen to the NEW Track With Us!

Things are constantly changing in Disney World, and now a fan-favorite attraction has changed in a BIG way.

Let’s take a ride!

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is a favorite of many guests, but it’s also a ride that breaks down often and can be somewhat unreliable. If this ride is one of your must-dos and you’re emotionally attached to the most recent version of the dialogue, we have some big news!

The dialogue on the PeopleMover has CHANGED! There is now a NEW narration on this ride. 😮

Here’s a peek at the BRAND new dialogue on the PeopleMover featuring ORAC as your narrator! It now talks about transferring to the green and red line and how the express train “keeps on rolling to the future.”

The new narration also mentions the TRON Attraction, talks about visiting the most “refreshing retreat in the galaxy,” and more. Some classic things have remained, though. Don’t panic — the “paging Mr. Morrow” line is still there — but it’s in a different spot! Here’s a video showing more of the new narration!

There are a TON of new things to listen for! Some things are still there, like the portion where Buzz Lightyear asks for help to defeat the evil Emperor Zurg. But following Buzz’s call for help, there is now a new response that says “Affirmative! We’re on it Buzz! You can count on us!”

There’s also a new portion near the end where the narrator tells all “sentient life forms” that the PeopleMover journey has come “full orbit.” The narrator then gives a little shout-out to The Best Time of Your Life song that was utilized at one point in time for Carousel of Progress! Specifically, the narrator says “now is the time, now is the best time” to go out and explore tomorrow today. The song featured the lyric “now is the time, now is the best time, now is the best time of your life.”

Seems like Disney has really worked to update the narration and give it a bit of a different feel! Be sure to listen carefully during your next ride so you can pick up on all of the changes. You’ll still recognize some small portions from the old narration and that classic Tomorrowland music loop still plays in the background, but it is very interesting to hear the new portions of the narration and just how Disney has changed things.
