Our Jaws Hit the Floor When We Saw This New Disney World Drink
There’s one Disney World restaurant where you can get sweeping views, delicious eats, and incredible crafted cocktails.
We’re talking about Topolino’s Terrace — Flavors of the Riviera located on the rooftop of Disney’s Riviera Resort! They offer a prix fixe character breakfast and a signature dining experience for dinner — including fireworks views. Whether you want a full meal or just to grab a tasty cocktail, this is a great spot — and you don’t even need a park ticket to visit! We visited recently and found something new, and it was almost too pretty to drink.
We stopped by Topolino’s for some drinks when we noticed that a new cocktail has arrived on the menu and we had to give it a try! The Topolino Tramonto is made with Stolichnaya Vodka, Caravella Limoncello, Aperol, Lemon, Agave, and Butterfly Pea Flower Tea for $16.
First of all, this drink was G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S. Just look at it! We loved the ombre colors of orange, pink, and purple (like a tiny sunset!) with the yellow flower and a sprig of rosemary, and we’re happy to report that it was actually pretty tasty too.
Like many other Disney World cocktails, this one was sweet, and we thought it tasted mostly like lemonade thanks to the limoncello. There was a slight (we’re talking sliiiiight) hint of bitterness from the Aperol and we also tasted some floral notes from the butterfly pea flower tea.
We could hardly taste any of the alcohol so this drink could get dangerous for some people! It’s definitely worth ordering if you want an adult beverage but don’t love the taste of alcohol or if you’re looking for something Instagram-worthy. It’s definitely photogenic!
Keep in mind that Topolino’s has some amazing specialty cocktails, like the Modern Fashioned or the French Rose, and this one isn’t quite up to their level. Don’t get us wrong — this cocktail was delicious! — but if you’re looking for one of Topolino’s BEST cocktails, you might want to skip this one.
You can get the Topolino Tramonto for $16 from Topolino’s, and we highly recommend securing a reservation if you want to visit for dinner. You can try joining the Mobile Walk-Up Waitlist too, but it might fill up before you can join. Sometimes it’s difficult to get a reservation at Topolino’s but remember that you can start searching for dining times beginning 60 days before your visit.
That said, the bar is a first come, first served situation, so if you arrive at a time with seating available you can visit without a reservation! You can order from the WHOLE menu at the bar, so this could be a good backup plan if you can’t secure a table reservation. When we visited at 5PM that day we were seated at the bar right away — but your mileage may vary depending on the date and time.
