Here’s What You’re MOST Excited to Eat at the 2022 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival
We’re SO. CLOSE.
The start to the 2022 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival is only a couple of days away, so we’re gearing up for the big event by packing our park bags, studying the menus, and finalizing our game plan. There are a lot of new eats at this year’s festival, not to mention returning favorites! Let’s find out which snacks and drinks people are MOST looking forward to eating this year.
We reached out on Twitter to ask you, “What are you most looking forward to tasting at the 2022 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival?” We got several responses with a lot of different festival favorites — here are some of the most popular picks!
Griddled Cheese (Greece Booth)
Several readers responded with a DFB-favorite snack, the Griddled Cheese with pistachios and honey. This delicious snack can be found at the Greece booth, and it’s gluten- and wheat-friendly.
One reader said, “The Griddled Cheese w/ pistachios and honey at the Greece booth, because…CHEESE.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. Another commented, “The Griddled Cheese is my FAVORITE!”
In the past, we’ve been HUGE fans of this snack. And this year it’s back and also part of Emile’s Fromage Montage — the festival cheese crawl!

Lamington (Australia Booth)
A few readers were also very interested in the Lamington, which can be found at the Australia booth. One reader commented, “I need to see if they’re up to this Aussie’s standards.”
In case you aren’t familiar with this treat, a Lamington is yellow cake with raspberry filling, dipped in chocolate and coconut. It’s available at the 2022 Food & Wine Festival for $4.50. Although the dish isn’t brand new to this year’s festival, it wasn’t available last year so we’re excited to see it return!

Vegan and Gluten-Free Eats
Several readers noted that they’re excited to see what kinds of vegan and gluten-free items will be available this year. There are more than 10 plant-based dishes available between several different booths, and over 20 gluten- and wheat-friendly eats.
You can tell if a snack is vegan or gluten-free by the symbols listed next to it on the booth’s menu. A dark blue circle with a white “G” inside means the item is gluten- and wheat-friendly. A little green plant symbol means the item is made without animal meat, dairy, eggs, or honey.
We’ve also noted which items are gluten-friendly and plant-based in our full list of food booths and menus.

The Hawai’i Booth
One of the most popular booths mentioned in response to our question was the Hawai’i booth! One reader said they can’t wait to eat the Passion Fruit Cheesecake with toasted macadamia nuts again, which was “amazing” on their last visit. (The cheesecake is also part of Emile’s Fromage Montage.)
Another person said they’re visiting the festival just for the Kālua Pork Slider! This snack is topped with sweet-and-sour DOLE pineapple chutney and spicy mayonnaise.
The other item on the Hawai’i booth’s menu is a new arrival! It’s the SPAM Musubi Nigiri with sushi rice, teriyaki-glazed SPAM, spicy mayonnaise, eel sauce, and nori. Will that dish become another fan favorite? We’ll have to wait and see!

New Eats
A few readers responded that they can’t wait to try all the NEW eats, especially at the Fry Basket booth, which is completely new this year. One reader said, “Anything from the Fry Basket!” while another specifically mentioned “the Adobo Yuca Fries.”
The Fry Basket is also home to a FRENCH FRY FLIGHT, which includes plant-based Sea Salt and Malt Vinegar Fries, Barbecued Bacon Fries with smoked aïoli, and Sweet Potato Casserole Fries with candied pecans, toasted marshmallow cream, and caramel whisky. (Are we already drooling?) The flight will cost $7.50.

All the Cheese
These are readers after our own hearts. One person said, “Cheese. That’s it.” And they’re correct. We can all go home now. In fact, there’s an entire cheese crawl at this festival, where you can choose any 5 of 10 different cheese-based dishes, collect stamps when you purchase each one, and then earn a PRIZE just for eating all of that cheese! It’s called Emile’s Fromage Montage, and it’s one of our favorite things.
Another reader specifically mentioned that they can’t wait to eat the Raclette at The Alps booth!
This year, there are actually THREE different Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese dishes (all of which are part of Emile’s Fromage Montage):
- Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with alpine ham, baby potatoes, cornichons, and baguette
- Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with baby potatoes, cornichons, and baguette
- Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with Riesling-poached pears, red wine-braised figs, candied pecans, honey, and cranberry toast (New)

EVERYTHING
And finally, we had to include a few responses that simply stated “EVERYTHING.” One reader said, “Is everything the wrong answer? But seriously too many things to name.” Another said, “I. Can. Not. Wait.” We can relate!
