If you’re looking for a family-style meal to share with the fam and enjoy some fun eats in Disney World, there’s a SECRET spot you’ll want to go to! You might know all about the family-style meal you can eat at the Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT or Trail’s End Restaurant at Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds, but there’s a hidden spot that’ll get you a family-style meal right in Disney Springs. You’ve just got to know where to look!
If you’re looking for some family-style (prix fixe menu) fun at Disney Springs, you’ll soon want to head over to Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar and Restaurant for the upcoming return of their Sunday Supper offering! We were invited by the team at Enzo’s Hideaway to get a SNEAK PEEK at the eats folks will get to enjoy here and now we’re sharing allllll the details with you.
Sunday Supper is something that was first introduced at Enzo’s Hideaway in 2018, and we shared a review of it back in 2018.
It hasn’t been available for a while, but is set to return this fall! Essentially, it is a family-style dinner full of Italian greats that you get to share with your group. But before we get into the food, let’s tackle what you’ll find when you enter Enzo’s Hideaway.
Atmosphere
Enzo’s Hideaway is just 1 restaurant in a trio of Italian spots in Disney Springs. Nearby you’ll also find Pizza Ponte and Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante. All of these serve up Italian eats with their own unique flair.
According to the backstory, Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar is in what used to be “rum-running tunnels.” It’s meant to be a sort-of speakeasy that serves Prohibition-era cocktails and Roman dishes.
You’ll find this spot tucked away, so be sure to do a bit of hunting as you’re looking for it!
Once you step in, you’ll be greeted by a darker interior, really meant to capture that speakeasy style.
All around you’ll see indications of this place’s story, with rum on the wall and other details.
There are a variety of tables and large booths, many of which can accommodate a pretty substantially sized group, so bring the fam!
You’ll also find a bar to grab some drinks while you’re here.
Now, to the menu!
Menu
This was a special media preview, so keep in mind that menu offerings can change. But, here’s a peek at some of the items we got to try as part of what’s coming for the Sunday Supper menu.
We also got to sample some drinks coming to their Smuggler’s Series. Basically, each month those who love beer, wine, and cocktails can gather together to try some NEW spirits. At each event, the experts share details about how the spirits are made. The upcoming Smuggler’s Series features Flor de Cana Rum in August (August 16th to be exact) and Malfy Gin in September.
Let’s dive into the food and drinks!
Eats
For our eats, we started with a bit of bread and olive oil — a staple!
Then it was time to dig into the Salumi e Formaggi. This was a charcuterie board that featured prosciutto di parma, salame picante, finocchiona, parmigiana, pecorino, fontina, cured olives, and grissini. There was also a currants and cherries spread, house-baked ciabatta, and peppers. This is not wholly unlike the antipasto board that was served previously as part of the Sunday Supper.
Everything was really fresh and cut perfectly — not too big or too small! The currants and cherries fruit spread was amazing on E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. Seriously, y’all, we would like to take a giant bucket of this home and spread it on all the bread we own. Please?!
All of the meats, peppers, and olives tasted fresh. We also really loved that some of the peppers and one of the meats were just spicy enough to give things a little kick!
Next up was the Insalta della casa. This was a salad described as having mixed organic greens, cucumbers, pickled peppers, tomatoes, olives, ricotta salata, and a balsamic vinaigrette. It’s a bit different than the salad offered way back in 2018 at Sunday Supper.
Overall, it was pretty basic, and there was nothing particularly special about it. The pieces of cheese in this were probably the best part but were a bit harder to find. The tomatoes included were little cherry tomatoes and were good and crunchy. And the peppers included were pretty hot — we had one small bite and couldn’t really eat the rest!
Then it was time to get into some more hearty meal options! First was Enzo’s Sunday Gravy Rigatoni! This is a house-made rigatoni with house tomato sauce. It’s not totally dissimilar from the Sunday Sauce rigatoni we had back in 2018.
The pasta in this dish was cooked just how we like it! It was al dente and very chewy — delish! The tomato sauce was light but carried a strong tomato flavor, with just a hint of basil and garlic. Overall, it was a pasta dish we’d totally eat again and again!
Next up were some Braised Meats. This featured meatballs, sausage, and short ribs. This mimics the meatballs, short rib, and sausage offering from back in 2018.
HOLY MACARONI Y’ALL. These meats just fell apart in our mouth! Not only did they just fall apart in absolute deliciousness, but they were also seasoned really well, giving them huge bursts of flavor.
The meatball had just the right amount of Italian seasoning on it and just melted (in a great way) when we cut it with our fork and ate it. These were MUCH better than the ones we had a number of years ago!
The short ribs were absolutely incredible and (again) literally fell apart as we were trying to pick it up with a fork because they’re just THAT tender. These weren’t chewy but instead melted in our mouth. They were lightly seasoned but still gave off an Italian vibe because of the Italian seasonings used for them.
The Italian sausage was good, and again had some Italian seasonings on it, with just a hint of spice! It was also nice and juicy, which we really enjoyed.
Lastly, we tackled the Pollo Arrosto. This features a lemon oregano roasted chicken, broccolini, creamy polenta, and salsa verde. This stands in the place of the 1/2 Roasted Free Range Chicken that was offered as part of Sunday Supper in 2018, and it is a big improvement at least in terms of the chicken itself (in our opinion).
In this dish, the chicken was really juicy and had a slight parsley flavor to it. It was simple but pretty good.
The polenta was similar to mashed potatoes but was harder and more gritty, and it had a slight cheese flavor to it. The broccolini was peppery but cooked perfectly!
If you thought the meal was over right then and there you’d be WRONG! You better save space for dessert cause there is a HUGE dessert coming to Enzo’s Hideaway called the Holy Cannoli! This dessert is aptly named because you’ll be shouting “HOLY CANNOLI” when you see the size of this thing!

And that’s exactly what it is — the Holy Cannoli! Vanilla & chocolate gelato, cannoli, waffle cone, banana, cherries, whipped cream, and MORE.

This sweet treat was suuuuuuuper yummy but BEWARE. It has a lot of gelato in it and melts quickly, so you’ll want to eat it quickly (and bring friends!).
Holy Cannoli is a bit of a different offering than some of the other ones we got a peek at though. It won’t be part of the Sunday Supper offering, but instead will be a different dessert. (In 2018, the Sunday Supper included a cannoli, tiramisu, and gelato, so perhaps something similar will return for that specific offering.)
The team at Enzo’s Hideaway wasn’t yet sure how the Holy Cannoli be offered exactly but it is set to arrive in about 3 months. The main issue here is the team at the restaurant is not sure what type of dish they’d like to present it in since they are experiencing supply chain issues and aren’t able to get the dishes they wanted.
And that’s it for the food, now let’s move on to the drinks!
Drinks
One of the drinks we got to try was the Flor de Cana, which is a twist on an Italian margarita for the month of August as part of the Smuggler’s Series. It has Flor de Cana 4 year Anejo Oros Rum, Triple Sec, Caravella Limoncello, and Lime. This was very similar to an Italian Margarita in the sense that it was very light and you could really taste that lime and lemon!
As our reporter put it, it’s definitely a drink “to get yourself in trouble with.” Basically, be careful with this one — it’s one that you could drink quickly without realizing how fast you’re drinking it!
Another drink we got to try is the Malfy Gin. This is this spot’s most popular drink on their normal menu (when available) and is an offering that’ll be available in September as part of the Smuggler’s Series. This is made with Acqua Tonico, Malfy Gin, Carpano Antica Vermouth, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, and Tonic. Our Malfy Gin was slightly watery, at least to us, but was very light.
You can really taste the elderflower in it, and it is very floral so just be prepared for that “I feel like I’m drinking a flower” sort of feeling!
We also got to try the Maple Old Fashioned. There is a hazelnut version of the Old Fashioned on their regular menu but that’ll change to maple for the fall! This is a drink that should be available in October. It features Knob Creek Smoked Maple Bourbon, Maple Spice, Angostura Bitters, Maraschino Cherry, and an Orange Peel.
The maple in this drink paired REALLY well with the other flavors in the Old Fashioned. Our reporter fully disclosed that they are not an “Old Fashioned person,” but the blend of the maple bourbon and that awesome maple spice, along with the orange and cherry made it feel lighter than a traditional Old Fashioned, in a really good way!
And finally, we also got to sample some Sangria from this spot. It was very peachy, apple-y, and fruity. Overall, it was a super light and tasty drink that could please a lot of different people!
Nosh or Not
Stop by Sunday Supper if:
- You want to try a variety of dishes without having to pick just one — You get the salad, the charcuterie, the pasta, the meats, and more. It’s a great way to sample your way through Italian cuisine without just having to stick to one dish.
- You want to experience the Tunnel Bar atmosphere — The speakeasy atmosphere is fun. If you’re looking for a lightly themed experience in Disney Springs, this could give you a taste of that!
- You LOVE Italian food — If it’s all pasta all the time for you, then this might be a good pick for you. Several of the dishes really carried through that Italian seasoning, so if that’s your preferred cuisine, you might really enjoy this.
Skip Sunday Supper if:
- You want to order off of a full menu or get a single full-sized dish — These are more sharing-style options served family-style, so if you prefer to eat a LARGE-sized pasta all on your own, this might not be the way to go.
- You’re not all that in love with Italian food — Italian is really the predominant flavor profile here, so if you or someone in your group isn’t looking for that, then this might be an option to skip.
- You’re looking for super unique food — The food options for Sunday Supper were generally good, solid choices. But they weren’t anything out of this world. For more unique Italian dishes or pasta, we might suggest hopping over to a place like Topolino’s Terrace — Flavors of the Riviera for some pasta that’ll blow your mind!
Overall
Back in 2018, we really enjoyed the Sunday Supper experience and felt like we were getting a bit more bang for our buck, food-wise. We had a pretty similar experience this time around! Several of the food items were a bit more ordinary — like the bread, salad, and chicken. But the meats really impressed us with just how flavorful and tender they were! And we really enjoyed the charcuterie board experience as well.
Plus, though it’s not part of the Sunday Supper experience, a trip to Enzo’s Hideaway may be in your future whenever that Holy Cannoli becomes available! That’s one that’ll totally make your friends jealous once you post it up on Instagram!
Overall, we had a good experience at Enzo’s Hideaway tasting some of the drinks coming to the Smuggler’s Series events and checking out a preview of the Sunday Supper experience. It’s a family-style meal that might not be for everyone, but if you’re looking to sample a bunch of Italian-style eats with the fam, it could be a good pick. Just keep in mind that while it is family style, it is NOT all-you-can-eat.
Thus far, pricing and timing for the return of the Sunday Supper series haven’t been revealed, but it used to be offered from 5-10PM on Sundays (during which time the regular menu was not offered). Pricing was previously $45 per person, $19 per child 9 and under (not including tax or gratuity), and you could bring a bottle or two of your own wine with no additional corkage fee (a BIG plus). From what we understand, this bring-your-own-wine portion won’t be included in the Sunday Supper offering when it returns. We’ll continue to keep an eye out for details on the return of Sunday Supper and let you know what we find.
