One of Disney World’s Most Expensive Restaurants Sees Major Price Increases
Disney World’s most elegant dining experience is almost back!
Victoria & Albert’s, one of the most expensive restaurants at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, is reopening on July 28th! Reservations will open soon, on June 20th, and we’re excited to see one of Disney World’s most unique experiences available again! We’ve also noticed some price increases in Disney World lately, and it looks like they’ve also hit this already pricey spot.
Victoria & Albert’s has 3 different dining experiences that you can choose from. The Dining Room, the Chef’s Table, and the Queen Victoria Room. All of these vary in prices depending on what is included in the meal, but we noticed a significant bump in price for all 3.
The Dining Room is the cheapest option at Victoria & Alberts. It used to be $185 for the tasting menu, but now the tasting menu will cost you $295 per person. They also had a $235 10 course Degestation Menu, but it is not currently listed on the menu. Disney hasn’t released an official reopening menu, so it could come back.
Guests will be able to try two different tasting menus in the Dining Room. If you want to pair it with wine, it will cost you an extra $150, and the zero-proof pairing is $110. There doesn’t seem to be a significant increase in the wine pairing prices.
The Chef’s Table allows you to eat inside the kitchen in front of the chefs while they cook your meal! This experience only seats one party per night (up to 6 people), and it’s the most customizable experience out of all the Victoria & Albert’s rooms. Back in 2020, we saw the Chef’s Table price increase from $250 to $350, and now it’s even higher at $425 per guest. If you want the wine pairing, it will cost you an extra $200 per guest, and the zero-proof pairing is $110 per guest.
The last Victoria & Albert’s experience is the Queen Victoria room. This room offers a much more intimate setting than the Dining Room. This used to cost $235, and now it will be $375 per guest with wine pairings starting at $200 per guest, and zero-proof pairings starting at $110 per guest. The room only seats 4 couples per night.
If you want to try Victoria & Alberts, set your alarms for June 20th when reservations become available. Seating is very limited in all of the rooms, and reservations can fill up quick. If you do make a reservation, make sure you’re 100% set on your date because a cancellation fee within 5 days of the reservation is $100. The full price will be charged for any no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of the reservation.
They also enforce a pretty strict dress code. This isn’t the place to wear your tennis shoes and Minnie Ears. The attire is formal or semi-formal, and guests must be 10 years old or older to dine here. This is one of Disney’s most intense and luxury experiences, and it’s one of the most critically acclaimed restaurants in Florida!
If you’re looking for something a little less fancy at Disney’s Grand Floridian, check out Grand Floridian Cafe! They offer an incredible brunch that we’d even recommend leaving Magic Kingdom for.
