The Best Disney World Souvenirs For Every Budget

We CAN’T go to Disney World and not buy souvenirs but collecting all those mugs, ears, popcorn buckets, and other items can get kinda pricey!

It’s time to go shopping!

So, let’s say you’re on a limited budget and you need to know about inexpensive — or even free — souvenirs! Or maybe you’ve got an unlimited budget and the sky’s the limit! We’ve put together a list that should satisfy EVERY budget, so you can have some cool souvenirs to bring home from you on your trip regardless of how much you have to spend. Let’s get started!

Little to No Budget

Maps

We’re going to start with those things that don’t cost a lot, or in some cases, are 100% free! And for once we won’t mention free water in those cute Mary Blair cups (okay, we mentioned it). First up? Maps. Maps are free and make a great addition to your Disney World scrapbook (and you can also find some cute Disney World travel journals to put them in, too).

Ta-da!

And not only are they great souvenirs, but they’re also handy if you don’t want to keep pulling out your phone to figure out how to get somewhere within the parks! We usually grab one to use (which will get a bit handled) and one for a keepsake.

Celebration Buttons

It doesn’t matter WHAT you’re celebrating, you can get free buttons in a variety of locations at Disney World (shops, City Hall, etc.) for birthdays, anniversaries, new jobs, and a ton of other things. A cast member will hand-write your name and/or what you’re celebrating on the button, and it’s a unique souvenir you can keep for years to come!

New Year’s Eve Button at Hollywood Studios

And yes, these buttons are free, although you can pay an upcharge to make them a little more special. Visit Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Magic Kingdom to have an artist personalize your button with calligraphy and metallic markers for $3 per word.

Kidcot Passports

Did you know you could travel around EPCOT, collect FREE cards and stickers about each country, and then get a cute little Ziploc Bag to keep them all in? Look for the Kidcot stations (which are also marked on park maps) to find out where you can get these cool little freebies.

Kidcot Fun Stop in Morocco

It’s also a super fun free activity to do with your kids, although we won’t lie — as adults, we like traveling around the world and collecting our stamps and cards, too!

Low Budget

Pressed Pennies

So let’s get on to things you DO have to pay for, but that are still inexpensive and fun to collect. That’s where Pressed Pennies come in. For a penny PLUS a quarter, you can have a unique Disney World design pressed into a penny to take home and keep forever.

Pressed Penny machine in Norway at EPCOT

And the cool thing is that you can travel around the parks searching for the pressed penny machines because they each have their own unique designs. It’s a fun way to see more of the parks AND get a cool — and cheap — souvenir!

Medallions

If you want something a little more impressive than the pressed penny and have $5 to spare, you can also get special collectible medallions all over Disney World! These machines have been around for a few years, but for some reason, often get overlooked. You can choose from a variety of designs — and they even come in different colors! What another fun and inexpensive thing to collect!

Disney Medallions

You can pay for these medallions using Apple Pay, Soft-Wallet, a credit card, and cash too, so they’re convenient! You can get 1 medallion for $5, 2 for $10, or 4 for $15 (you essentially pay for 3 and get the 4th free!).

Silhouettes

Some of our favorite souvenirs are the Silhouettes you can get done at Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom. You can basically get a cut-paper silhouette of your face quickly and inexpensively, which means this is a custom souvenir unique TO YOU. And they’re relatively inexpensive, too — they’re $12 per person, $20 for two people, $24 for three people, and $27 for four.

Silhouettes

And if you want to purchase a protective frame, it’s an additional $8.95. Sure, if everyone in the family wants an individual one, it can get pricey, but this is one of those souvenirs that is well worth the money.

Mugs

Okay, so we have quite the assortment of Disney mugs, but that’s because they’re a souvenir that is VERY handy — and we can always smile when we’re drinking our morning cup of coffee out of them because they remind us of our happy place. And there are a lot of fun mugs to choose from!

Orange Bird Mugs

We especially like the Starbucks Parks mugs, and yes, we collect them from each park. Mugs tend to range in price from about $15 to $24, so if you only get one each trip, they’re really not that expensive at all. And they’ll do more than collect dust like so many other souvenirs!

Pins

Pins are a great way to commemorate special occasions, trips, and more! And there really is a Disney pin for nearly every occasion. You can also get pins with your favorite characters, rides, attractions, and more! They CAN get pricey if you collect a ton of them, but if you limit yourself to just one or two per trip, they’re an affordable souvenir to remind you of something special.

SO many pins!

Individual pins can range in price from $10 to $20+, depending on how elaborate or limited edition they are.

Christmas Ornaments

Another way to commemorate a Disney World trip is by getting a new Christmas ornament every time you visit the parks! Then you can pull out all the ornaments you’ve collected over the years and remember all your happy Disney trips each holiday season.

Just like the one in real life!

Ornaments can also be customized if you want to make them that much more special! And you can find them in a range of prices — some are as inexpensive as $10, while others can cost up to $30+.

Here’s One of the Most Unexpected Souvenirs You Can Find in Disney World

Medium Budgets

Art

If you’ve got a little more to spend on souvenirs, you might want to consider buying some Disney art! Sure, you can get some cool postcards with Disney artwork for a song, but you can also get full prints! Depending on the artist, the print, and its size, it can cost anywhere from $20 to $100, and if you choose to get them framed, they’ll cost a little more. But worth it.

This is BEAUTIFUL!

Imagine how much brighter your home will be with some Disney art hanging on the walls. Also, if you happen to visit Disney World during EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts, you can actually meet some of the artists and have them sign their work!

Ears

So we won’t lie — this is one of those medium budget purchases that we’re obsessed with. Because for many of us, we get a new pair of ears pretty regularly! Disney CONSTANTLY releases new pairs, and they’re a fun way to bring a little Disney to your day. Sure — they’re not practical outside of Disney World, but they sure look cute when you’re walking down Main Street, U.S.A. posing for photos!

Fabulous new ears!

Ears range in price from $20 to $30, although the designer ears can get a LOT more pricey. And we’re going to recommend that first visits to Disney World get commemorated with a Personalized Mickey Ear Hat — seriously, it’s a rite of passage.

Clothing

Clothing is a good buy because it’s useful, right? And you will find a variety of clothing at Disney World, including shirts, dresses, pajamas, shoes, and more! You want to rep your favorite character? There’s a shirt for that. You want to sport your favorite ride? There are dresses for that! Any kind of Disney clothing you can imagine is available for purchase!

Tell us you wouldn’t wear these Disney x Coach slides absolutely EVERYWHERE!

You can spend a little on something like socks (which run around $20 per pair) or a lot on something like the Dress Shop dresses, (which run around $130+) but what’s better than a souvenir you can wear over and over again? Also, SPIRIT JERSEYS are fun AND comfy (and they usually run around $75).

nuiMOs

Okay, one of the latest Disney trends is nuiMos, which are adorable little plushes that you can buy outfits for. And although the plushes themselves aren’t TOO pricey (around $20 each), once you start adding in outfits (and you will want to buy them SO many clothes), it can start getting expensive.

Chip ‘n Dale nuiMOs

There are SO many adorable outfits, too, including camping gear,, vintage outfits, and even costumes! These outfits run anywhere from $13 to $22, so even if you only get a few, it will add up, making these a medium budget souvenir. But collecting those little cuties is ADDICTIVE, so you’ve been warned.

Loungefly Bags

Collecting Loungefly Bags is TOTALLY a thing, and that’s because there are so many to choose from. We’ve spotted bags that LIGHT UP, bags devoted to the Main Street Electrical Parade, and bags that are so cute they’re kind of creepy! And the truth is we LOVE the mini backpacks — they make great park bags, too!

So cute!

Now Loungefly bags can be pricey, but they’re not as expensive, as say — Dooney & Bourke bags. The Loungefly backpacks start at about $75 in the parks.

We Bet You Didn’t Know About These UNIQUE Customizable Souvenirs in Disney World

High Budgets

Designer Ears

So you have an unlimited budget and the sky’s the limit. Then you’re going to want to collect the Designer Minnie Ears. But they can get a little pricey — and, they can often be hard to get, too, because they’re limited editions! But if you get lucky enough to nab a pair, you’ll be the BELLE of the ball!

Gold leather Minnie ears by Loungefly

You can nab some of these for as low as $48 (like the Up ears), but others can cost even more — the BaubleBar Ears were $78! And the Heidi Klum Designer EarsThose would have set you back $600.

Cinderella Castle by Arribas Brothers

Okay, now we’re just going to assume you have an unlimited amount to spend on Disney souvenirs, and we’re going to tell you about that thing we’d buy if we win the lottery. It’s the Cinderella Castle by Arribas Brothers — and we know EVERYONE has stared at this gorgeous thing at least once while visiting the Magic Kingdom.

Cinderella Castle at Crystal Arts

This creation is a replica of Cinderella Castle and has 28,255 handset Swarovski crystals on it! And for $37,500, it could be yours. And hey, it even comes with its own custom metal case and a certificate of authenticity. There were only 50 of these made, too, so it’s VERY limited edition.

Hand-Crafted Tables

We discovered these amazing Disney souvenirs during this year’s EPCOT Festival of the Arts. And they were SO gorgeous and we WISHED we’d had money to spend on them. Michael Maiden’s hand-crafted tables are a luxury purchase, but his work is second-to-none: he’s the only sculptor in the world that Disney commissions to recreate the characters in bronze. JUST LOOK at this thing!

Michael Maiden Table

You’ll need to pony up anywhere from $29,000 and $35,000 for these gorgeous handmade creations. But if money is no object, this is a great souvenir, right?

Citizen Watches

Another super useful souvenir you can get is a Disney watch. But why settle for any old watch when you can get a special Citizen Watch? And we’ve seen some VERY cool ones recently, too, including an Iron-Man one that we love x 3000! Plus a few other awesome Marvel ones!

“I Love You 3000” Watch

Now, you’ll pay for high quality with these watches. They’ll run you anywhere from $250 to $800.

Jewelry

In addition to watches, you can get some pretty nice — and expensive — Disney jewelry, too! We’ve found some Designer Jewelry that can set you back up to $1000 (like these earrings). Or if you’re thinking about getting hitched, you could nab some Disney engagement rings. This Cinderella Carriage Ring is $3000.

But what’s a few thousand dollars for what might be the most magical day of your entire life, right? There are plenty of other pricey jewelry items out there, too, if jewelry is your thing!

We Doubt You’ll Ever Guess the Most Expensive Item in This EPCOT Shop!

If you’re looking for Disney souvenirs, this is just a taste of what you can find at pretty much every price range. But really, the best souvenirs of all are the memories you make while you’re at the parks, and those are, well, priceless.
