Disney World Guests Share Which NEW Restaurants They Are Eager to Try!
If there’s anything we get excited about here at DFB, it’s Disney FOOD. And our readers are pretty dedicated to the craft as well!
But when you’re a Disney foodie, it can be a seemingly impossible task to decide where to eat on your next vacation. You think about it for months, but there are SO many good options! Recently, we reached out to our followers on Facebook to see which NEW Disney World restaurants they’re most excited to visit, and we got some pretty interesting answers.
Space 220
Let’s kick things off with a new restaurant that opened back in the fall, Space 220! Many of our readers said that they were really interested in visiting this new spot, mostly thanks to its unique atmosphere and concept. (Who WOULDN’T want to dine in space?!)
If you’ve got the budget for it, you can make a reservation for the dining room. However, they also offer a lounge where guests can order items a la carte for a little bit cheaper — reservations are also available for the lounge, and they’ve been very popular.

Steakhouse 71
Steakhouse 71 was another popular choice from our readers who hadn’t been to Disney World in a few months! This restaurant opened up on the 50th Anniversary and it serves three different menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It has been a hit with Disney fans so far, thanks to some delicious items (like that burger!) and the more affordable steakhouse prices.
It’s located at the Contemporary Resort, so it’s just a short walk or monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom — sounds like a great place to take a midday break and grab some lunch to us! Don’t forget to make your reservations ahead of time to secure your spot.

La Crêperie de Paris
And last on the list of newly opened restaurants is La Crêperie de Paris, which also opened up officially on the 50th Anniversary. This spot added a new counter service and table service option to the France Pavilion, serving authentic crêpes and galettes from the Brittany region of France.
If you dine in the sit-down restaurant, you can order from the prix fixe menu or grab some items individually. It’s not an incredibly large dining room and reservations go pretty quickly, so just keep that in mind when booking.

Storybook Dining
Moving on, let’s talk about a newly reopened offering that many of our readers are very excited to experience — Storybook Dining at Artist Point! This restaurant offering at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge just returned at the end of 2021, and here you’ll be able to see Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and the Evil Queen.
This restaurant is still relatively new (it opened back in 2018 and didn’t even get to operate for two years before the closures), so it’s a pretty popular choice for a character meal. However, it’s not cheap — $60 per adult and $39 per child with shared appetizers, your choice of entree, and shared desserts.

Connections Cafe and Eatery
Finally, we make it to the list of restaurants that haven’t yet opened! First up is Connections Cafe and Eatery, which is coming to EPCOT this spring and will be the new quick service spot in the front of the park. (Replacing the long-gone Electric Umbrella.)
We’ve already had a glimpse at the menu, and it’s looking pretty delicious! They’ve got burgers, chicken, pizza, and salads. Prices range from $10.29-$12.99 for adult entrees, so it’s pretty standard. It’ll also be home to the new Starbucks location, so you don’t have to stand outside in the sun while waiting on your drinks anymore!

Woody’s Roundup Rodeo BBQ
And last but not least is Woody’s Roundup Rodeo BBQ, coming soon to Toy Story Land. We’ve been anticipating this restaurant for a few years now, and watching construction to see if there have been any updates. We found out a few months ago that this new spot will indeed be opening up in 2022!
We don’t have the menu, the prices, or too many details yet, but it’s part of a slightly larger expansion in Toy Story Land that includes what we believe to be a new gift shop. We’re interested to get more informaiton on these projects soon, and can’t wait to enjoy some yummy barbecue!
