There Was an Aggressive Amount of Boba In Our Disney Drink. And We LOVED It.
In early February — even in Orlando — we like to curl up on the couch with a big mug of hot cocoa or maybe some of that delicious hot mint tea from the Morocco pavilion in EPCOT.
So when we heard that there was a new frozen drink in Disney Springs, our first thought was this: . Then we learned more about what was IN the drink. So our next thought was this: . Come with us to an underrated snack stand to check out the newest must-try drink in Disney World.
If you’re craving a pretzel in Disney World, your first thought is probably the Mickey-shaped pretzels found at various snack stands around the parks. But there are actually a lot of great soft pretzel options, including the ones at Pongu Pongu in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Germany pavilion in EPCOT, and Baseline Taphouse in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
But did you know that you can get a variety of soft pretzel flavors in Disney Springs as well? Check out Wetzel’s Pretzels (located on the West Side) to find full-sized pretzels and flavored pretzel bites.
This is where we are headed today, except we’re not looking for those savory bites. Instead, we’re trying the new Mango Boba Frozen Lemonade! We’ve seen frozen lemonade boba drinks at this spot in the past, but this is the first time we spotted the mango flavor.
The drink is frozen mango-flavored lemonade with mango boba pearls mixed in. You can get one for $8.50.
We really enjoyed this drink! The sweet mango flavor was definitely identifiable, but it was also more subtle than we were expecting. The dominant flavor was lemonade for sure, with just that hint of mango. Our drink was very smooth, and it had a LOT of boba pearls inside.
Seriously, they did not skimp on the boba. We were halfway through the drink before we had a sip without a pearl in it. And those pearls had their own mango flavor, which added to the sweetness of the drink.
If you enjoy lemonade and boba, this is the perfect drink for you! The mango flavor isn’t super strong, but it was present in the drink, so if you’re not a mango fan then you may want to skip this one. Head into Disney Springs to the Wetzel’s Pretzel’s stand if you want to give it a try.
