NEWS: The Space 220 Lounge in EPCOT is Now Taking Reservations

EPCOT is widely considered the best Disney World park for food.

Whether you’re dining at one of the table service restaurants, snacking your way around the World Showcase, or trying out the offerings at the festival food booths, you can find TONS of delicious snacks and treats here. One of the newest restaurants in this park is Space 220, and if you were hoping to dine 220 miles about the earth, you need to know about its recent change. 

Space 220 serves both lunch and dinner, or you can head to the Lounge to try some tasty bites and order off their lengthy drinks menu.

When the restaurant first opened, you needed reservations for lunch and dinner (which is still the case), but you did not need to reserve your spot at the Lounge.

Instead, guests could just walk up and wait for a spot at the Lounge without any advance reservation. Now, however, that’s starting to change.

The Space 220 Lounge on the Disney World website now has a spot for making reservations. So if you’re heading into EPCOT soon and want to eat at the Lounge, you can make reservations for lunch or dinner time at the Lounge.

We checked on the availability, and there were several options when we looked for a table of 2, even for dates that were very close (like tomorrow, December 2nd).

On certain days (and especially when we tried a party of 3 or more), there was no availability at all. So you’ll want to make those reservations SOON.

You can reserve your spot on the Disney World website, or use the My Disney Experience app.

The lounge may still allow walk-ups (at least for a few days from now as they transition into reservations), so if you can’t get a reservation for your trip we would still tell you to go up and ask a Cast Member about availability!
