What’s New at Magic Kingdom: Main Street Vehicles Reopen and Tons of New Holiday Treats

Welcome back to another update on what’s new in Magic Kingdom!

If you’re a big fan of the holiday season, then this update is perfect for you — we have the latest from Disney Very Merriest After Hours, plus all of the latest seasonal happenings, treats, merchandise, and more!

Disney Very Merriest After Hours

We tried a ton of party-exclusive goodies on the first night of Disney Very Merriest After Hours this week! First up is the citrusy Orange Bird Churro for $7, which can be found at the Snack Cart on Main Street!

It’s definitely orange!

We also loved the Ginger Apple Funnel Cake from Sleepy Hollow Refreshments for $7.99!

We also tried a pair of party-exclusive treats over at Golden Oak Outpost. They were the Gingerbread Almond Cake Pop for $4.99

…and the To Be Jolly Float for $6.99.

There are also an assortment of complimentary treats available to party guests, including Snickerdoodle Cookies and Hot Cocoa!

Auntie Gravity’s

We tried a pair of Christmas Cookie-themed treats at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies in Tomorrowland. First up is the Christmas Cookie Milkshake for $7.99.

We also tried the Christmas Cookie Sundae for $5.99 (there IS ice cream underneath all of that whipped cream, we promise!).

Both of these treats were pretty sweet, but that was to be expected! Check these out this holiday season as you visit Tomorrowland.

Main Street Bakery

We also noticed that the Mickey Cinnamon Roll at Main Street Bakery now comes with red icing!

The Mickey Cinnamon Roll is officially in holiday mode!

Just in time for the holidays, your morning dose of a cinnamon roll is now more festive than ever! The cinnamon rolls are available for $6.49.

Magic Kingdom General Updates

The biggest general update from Magic Kingdom is that Disney Very Merriest After Hours began this week!

We were at the first night, taking in all of the festive sights, sounds, and tastes!

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is back!

We recently noticed that the omnibus and other Main Street vehicles reopened for the first time since the closures started in March 2020!

Main Street vehicles are back!

It was so nice to see these vehicles travel up and down Main Street again!

We noticed a couple of other attraction updates around Magic Kingdom as well, including some progress happening with the sign at Mickey’s PhilharMagic!

The sign is being repainted!

We’re loving all of these exciting attraction updates! Be sure to follow along as we cover the reopening of Mickey’s PhilharMagic with a new scene added from Pixar’s Coco!

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates

Emporium

Pluto fans! This new merchandise discovery is for you! We came across a hot cocoa-scented Pluto plush at Emporium on Main Street!

It’s Pluto!

He’s available for $27.99 and he’s dressed for the holidays, complete with little antlers.

We love the holiday plush each season, but this one is definitely a standout! Keep your eyes peeled for him the next time you go shopping in the coming weeks around Disney World.
