A 50th Anniversary Item that Sold Out Quickly is Now Available through Mobile Order in Disney World

Disney World’s 50th anniversary has come with a lot of new merchandise!

Happy Birthday, Disney World!

We’ve seen a bunch of Minnie Ears, several different collections, and special things like popcorn buckets and balloons. One of those items was the 50th Anniversary Celebration Minnie Mouse Sipper. It was in Magic Kingdom on October 1st, but quickly sold out. Now, it’s coming back to the park, but in an unusual way.

The Minnie Mouse sipper is now being released through Mobile Order in Magic Kingdom. Starting today, you can use My Disney Experience on your phone to buy the souvenir.

Here’s how it works — You go into your app to Mobile Order food like you normally would. When you scroll through the food options, you’ll see “Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe — Souvenir Release” listed as if it were a restaurant.

Select an arrival window, then during the time you select, tap “I’m Here, Prepare My Order” and you will soon get a notification that you’re order is ready. Then, you can go pick up your sipper!

There is a limit of 2 sippers per transaction and this is only available while supplies last. The sipper is $15.99 and comes with your choice of drink.

These could sell out pretty quickly again, so don’t wait to get yours if you’re in Magic Kingdom! This way of releasing merchandise is interesting and hopefully a bit less chaotic than it can be when merchandise is just put out on the shelves.
