Howdy from Magic Kingdom!

Cinderella Castle has been redecorated for the 50th Anniversary!

We’re at the parks alllll the time keeping an eye out for new things to tell you about, so come with us as we share what’s new at Magic Kingdom!

Magic Kingdom Food Updates

Sunshine Tree Terrace

The Backside of Water is GONE at Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland! The treat was on the menu for a while to celebrate the recent renovations of the Jungle Cruise, as well as the new blockbuster movie that came out in July!

In addition to the missing float, you can also no longer get the cotton candy Dole whip that was a part of the treat on its own.

And even though something was removed from the menu, the Citrus Swirl has still not returned!

No more statues!

We noticed this in particular around the fountains.

Is something new coming?

This could possibly be making room for the new golden character statues that are coming for the 50th anniversary!

Magic Kingdom Additional Updates

The Monorail was closed at the Transportation and Ticket Center Monday morning! Both the Express and Resort lines were down, with Cast Members blocking the entrance.

Monorail Closed

The only way to get to Magic Kingdom was on the ferry boat, which caused a tonnn of backups due to the crowds trying to get to the park for Labor Day!

Line for the Ferry Boat

Once we got to Magic Kingdom from the TTC (which took about 45 minutes🥴), the Monorail lines were down at the entrance to the park as well.

Monorail Closed

However, things were back up and running again by Tuesday morning!
