Using and Understanding Disney World’s NEW Annual Passholder Calendar

Disney’s new Annual Pass system starts today, so guests can purchase an Annual Pass or upgrade their existing tickets now!

Walt Disney World Annual Pass

We’ve already looked at the pros and cons of this new annual pass system, what you’ll have to pay extra for with it, and everything that’s missing from the new program. We’ve also seen all the blockout dates for the new annual pass, but these are also available with Disney’s new Annual Passholder calendar, which is available now through the My Disney Experience app. Let’s take a look!

To get to the Annual Passholder calendar, you’ll go to the My Disney Experience app and log into your account. Click “Make Theme Park Reservations” and then under “View Current Availability” choose “Annual Pass.” Your screen will look something like this.

Once you’re there, you can select which pass you’ll be using (the IncrediPass, Sorcerer Pass, Pirate Pass, or Pixie Dust Pass) and choose the park that you want to make your reservation for. You’ll then be able to see which dates are available for you to make a reservation.

Dates with a full green dot mean that you can make reservations at any park. A half-filled green dot means that some parks are available, and a grey crossed-out circle means there are no reservations available. If there’s a grey slash through the date, that day is blocked off for the pass you selected.

For certain days, you may also see a yellow star, which is a bonus reservation. That means you can make the park pass reservation without it counting towards your limit of pass reservations. For instance, guests with an existing gold annual pass can now make five park pass reservations. But they could make more than five reservations if the extra ones are bonus (they have the gold star by the date).

This new system will link your ticket reservations with your park passes so that you can see more easily which dates are available for you! Disney has said that the new annual pass sales will be limited, so make sure that you buy yours soon. And keep following DFB so we can let you know about more Disney news!
