Would You Pay $17 for ONE Disney FastPass?!

The FastPass+ system at Disney World has not returned since the parks reopened in July of 2020, and there’s no word on when it will.

FastPasses essentially let you book a time slot to skip most of the line on attractions. Disneyland Paris recently implemented a new system of paid FastPasses, called Disney Premier Access. This is different from Disney World, where FastPasses were free to guests with a park ticket. Now we have a look at the exact pricing for Disneyland Paris’ new FastPass system.

The new Disney Premier Access program at Disneyland Paris allows guests to pay for Premier Access for each ride. You have to be inside the park to purchase (at Disney World you could book ahead of time), which is done through the Disneyland Paris App. You find the ride you want to buy access for, choose a time slot available, and purchase.

Only certain rides are available for Premier Access and each ride varies in price. We took a look at the prices in Disneyland Park to get an idea of what each ride costs. Keep in mind these prices are per guest, per attraction.

Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast and Peter Pan’s Flight are both €15, which is about $17.79 and Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain is €9, which is about $10.68.

Big Thunder Mountain is at €12, which is about $14.23 and Star Tours: The Adventure Continue and Autopia are both €8, which is about $9.49.

The other two rides that have Premiere Access are Ratatouille: The Adventure and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror inside Walt Disney Studios Park, but they were currently unavailable at the time of writing.

After you purchase Premier Access for an attraction, you will go to the ride during the time slot you selected, present a QR code from the app, and be admitted to the fast lane for the attraction. You can buy up to 3 Disney Premier Access for each attraction per guest, per day, and up to 12 Disney Premier Access for one attraction and one-time slot at a time (depending on availability). There is a limited number of Premier Access passes.

Disneyland Paris

If you don’t want to pay for Premier Access, you can still wait in the regular standby line, but you will need to reserve a pass through the Disneyland Paris app first for physical distancing purposes. Those passes are free.

As we wait to hear about FastPasses in Disney World again, we do wonder if they will change from being free to being an additional price. With paid FastPass system in multiple parks, it seems like a huge possibility. Stay tuned to DFB for updates!
