What’s New at EPCOT: Camera On Top of Spaceship Earth, Scuba Mickey, and Two MagicBands
Welcome back, future-loving friends, to another walk around EPCOT! Change is in the air at EPCOT (and all of Walt Disney World); we recently visited some new Food and Wine Festival booths, learned more about Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and got an opening timeline for Space 220!
What better way to spend your day than in EPCOT? While we’re here, we thought that we’d show you a few things that made us smile, got us excited, and left us curious! Let’s take a look!
EPCOT Construction Updates
We saw some late-night testing going on a few days ago, but now we also can see what looks like a camera on top of Spaceship Earth!
Does this mean that more light show testing is in Spaceship Earth’s future? Who knows!

EPCOT Merchandise Updates
Mouse Gear
There are a few new items to show you around Mouse Gear! Disney loves to keep us on our toes — some of the merchandise was moved around, so you might have to do a little extra searching next time you visit Mouse Gear.
We found two new limited edition MagicBands for sale! They’re kept behind the counter, so you’ll need to ask a Cast Member if you want a closer look. First up is this Canada-themed MagicBand with Mickey in his finest outfit!
This MagicBand is a Limited Edition item (there’s only 1000), so head over to EPCOT if you’re a Canada fan! We’ve seen other World Showcase-inspired MagicBands before, like the Limited Edition Germany MagicBand and the Limited Edition Norway MagicBand! This one might be a new favorite, though! You can grab it for $39.99 at Mouse Gear!
Last month, Dooney and Bourke released a Hunchback of Notre Dame collection that included new bags and a wallet, but now we can buy a matching MagicBand! The Limited Edition size on this stained glass MagicBand is 1,560 and is priced at $58.
For our Annual Passholders, there’s a new Food and Wine Festival magnet for you to see!
Remy is cooking up some delicious foods, and Emille looks ready to eat them up! You can stick this magnet on your fridge for $14.99 (or anywhere your heart desires!).
Scuba Mickey
It was an exciting day over at The Seas pavilion — we had a RARE character sighting! Scuba Mickey dove down to come and say hello!
It was so cool to see him swimming around with the fish; it was definitely the highlight of our day!
That concludes our latest update from EPCOT! Make sure to follow along as we bring you more updates and news from the parks! Lately, it feels like there’s constantly something new on the way, so stick around to be up-to-date on the newest rides, restaurants, hotels, and more!
