REVIEW: We Weren’t Sure This NEW Dole Whip Combo in Disney World Would Work…But It Totally Does!

We’ve been enjoying this year’s EPCOT Food and Wine Festival (well, we enjoy it EVERY year)!

While we’ve been busy snacking on an Apple Crumble Tart, a Sriracha Chicken Donut, and Schinkennudeln, we’ve been missing one festival staple — the almighty Dole Whip. When the festival first started, Dole Whip at EPCOT was nowhere to be found! Until now… .

We were visiting World Showcase today looking for new things to eat, and we spied a Dole Whip on the menu at Refreshment Outpost! FINALLY! You can get either Watermelon or Pineapple Dole Whip here or…get this…you can get those two flavors together as a swirl.

And, well, we had to get the swirl for science! These aren’t two flavors we would have ever thought to combine otherwise. We opted for a cone over a cup.

So here’s the thing, you might not think these two flavors would work well together, but surprisingly enough, they really do! It was a lot of fun to eat this. But we were disappointed in the serving size here. We think maybe we should’ve received more Dole Whip for $5.25.

It’s not a lot of Dole Whip

This is far less Dole Whip than we would get at Aloha Isle at Magic Kingdom. And the cone is a lot smaller than we were expecting, too. It’s more of a mini waffle cone.

We need more Dole Whip

We do have to wonder if we would have received more if we had chosen the cup. As far as the flavors go, you will probably need to like other Dole Whip swirls like the pineapple and vanilla to enjoy this one. But we thought this new and interesting flavor combo was great! We just wanted more!

We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more new snacks at Disney World, so stay tuned!
