PHOTOS: First Look at the Muppets Haunted Mansion Special Coming to Disney+!

It’s Spooky Season, friends!!

Happy Halloween from Main Street, U.S.A.!

That’s right, it may be August, but the Halloween festivities have kicked off in Disney World! Main Street, U.S.A. is all decked out in Mickey wreaths and fun pumpkins, a ton of creepy merch just dropped, and BOO Bash After Hours event starts tomorrow! It’s the perfect time to get in the spirit, and what’s spookier than the Haunted Mansion?! Earlier this year we told you about a Haunted Mansion crossover with the Muppets, and we have a first look at the special!

It was announced in May that Muppets Haunted Mansion would be coming to Disney+ this fall. We didn’t have any other info really (besides this amazing announcement from Gonzo and Pepe), but now we do!! Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we have a first look at the spooky special!

According to Entertainment Weekly, the special takes place on Halloween! The premise is that, “Gonzo is challenged to spend one very daring night in the most grim grinning place on Earth…The Haunted Mansion.” OOOOO how exciting?!

We should expect family-friendly scares, new music, and celebrity cameos! Also, we’ll see Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy hilariously dress up as each other!

We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to see the gang run around the famous Disney ride! There still isn’t an official release date for Muppets Haunted Mansion, but we’ll tell you as soon as we know, so stay tuned to DFB for more!
