Character dining has returned to Disneyland Resort!

We’ve already had a chance to enjoy the return of characters to breakfast at Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian, and we’re looking forward to the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa!

And today, we got to enjoy another character breakfast — this time with the Minnie & Friends — Breakfast in the Park at Plaza Inn. And we are SO excited to share our experience with you!

Atmosphere

The Plaza Inn looked lovely on a bright, sunny day.

We checked in for our breakfast at this outdoor counter located just outside the entrance of the Plaza Inn.

We got this cute little card for checking in and waited to be called to go inside!

The outside of the Plaza Inn is beautiful in the morning light, with pops of pink flowers among the pink umbrellas.

And inside, there are counters to order hot food…

…as well as counters where you can grab your own food like pastries and fruit.

But we’re here for some characters, so who did we see?

We started with photos of Minnie in her garden! She has so many beautiful flowers, don’t you think?

Inside, we saw so many of Minnie’s friends. Remember, they will aall greet you from a distance. We saw Chip greeting guests…

…and we saw Daisy striking a pose.

…and Pluto had to get a silly photo!

…and Tigger said, “Nice to meet you!”

But we’re also here for the food, so let’s see what that looks like!

Eats

The Plaza Inn serves breakfast as a buffet, with options like Cereal, Scrambled Eggs, Made-to-Order Omelets, Bacon, Biscuits and Gravy, Bacon, French Toast, Mickey Waffles, and a Variety of Pastries and Fruit.

Of course we HAD to get the Mickey Waffles and, ahem, there are also MINNIE Waffles! Her little bow is almost too cute to eat.
