EPCOT

October marks the beginning of Disney World’s 18-month long 50th Anniversary celebrations! There will be new fireworks, new shows, new merchandise, and so much more. And now it seems like guests will have a little extra time to some of those things and more specifically over at EPCOT once October begins!

Here’s a peek at EPCOT’s current hours for the end of September. The park opens each day at 11AM, and closes at either 10PM or 9PM, depending on the day.

But, things look a little different in October. Starting on October 1st, EPCOT will open at 10AM, instead of its usual 11AM. So far, the Disney calendar shows that earlier opening time for EPCOT from October 1st through…

…October 23rd, which is as far as the calendar goes at this moment.

It looks like guests will get a little bit of extra time in EPCOT starting on October 1st, when Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebrations begin. October 1st will be a big day all throughout Disney World, but especially at EPCOT. On October 1st, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Creperie de Paris will open at EPCOT, several booths will join the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, and EPCOT’s new fireworks show, Harmonious, will debut.
