How Busy Will Disney World Be on July 4th?

July is officially here! It’s been nearly a full year since Disney World reopened to the public following its four-month-long closure in 2020 (seriously, where has the time gone?).

That means it has also been nearly a full year since Disney World rolled out its Park Pass Reservation System. If you’re planning on visiting Disney World next week for the 4th of July holiday, let’s take a look at what the current park hours are, as well as the latest Park Pass availability.

Disney World Park Hours the Week of July 4th

Magic Kingdom will be open next week from 9AM-11PM daily.

EPCOT will be open daily from 11AM-10PM. Remember that Monday, July 5th is the final day of the 2021 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be open daily from 9AM-8PM next week.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be open daily from 8AM-7PM next week.

Keep in mind that Magic Kingdom and EPCOT have officially returned to showing nightly fireworks spectaculars! Currently, Happily Ever After and EPCOT Forever are two great opportunities to catch some fireworks in Disney World for the first time in over a year!

It’s BACK!

If you’re looking to Park Hop, you may do so after 2PM each day, regardless of which park you start in or which park you wish to Hop to, so long as you’ve scanned into the first park for which you have a valid Park Pass reservation.

Current Disney Park Pass Reservation Availability the Week of July 4th

Select Resort Hotels

Guests staying at Select Resort Hotels cannot currently book any Park Pass Reservations on Sunday, July 4th. So Disney World is completely SOLD OUT for the 4th.

From Monday, July 5th through Thursday, July 8th as well as Saturday, July 10th, guests staying at Select Resort Hotels can book a Park Pass Reservation at EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

On Friday, July 9th, guests staying at Select Resort Hotels can book a Park Pass Reservation at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Theme Park Tickets

Guests with Theme Park Tickets currently have the same Park Pass Reservation availability as guests staying at Select Resort Hotels. As of this writing, Sunday July 4th is completely booked across all four theme parks.

From Monday, July 5th through Thursday, July 8th as well as Saturday, July 10th, guests with Theme Park Tickets can book a Park Pass Reservation at EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

On Friday, July 9th, guests with Theme Park Tickets can book a Park Pass Reservation at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Annual Passholders

Currently, Annual Passholders have near-wide open availability for the week of July 4th. Sunday, July 4th is booked across all four theme parks, and on Monday, July 5th, Annual Passholders can book a Park Pass Reservation at EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But from Tuesday, July 6th through Saturday, July 10th, all four theme parks are wide open!
