Review: Strawberries Are Taking over Disney World Treats (And We’re HERE For It)

And we’re gearing up for the warm weather with plenty of colorful treats — including a few for Pride Month! But today, we popped by a sweet shop in Disney’s Animal Kingdom for some strawberry snacks.

Zuri’s Sweets Shop offers a selection of cake pops, cupcakes, marshmallow wands, and more. And we noticed a new flavor has taken over some of these classic treats: strawberry! So of course, we snagged some eats, starting with a Strawberry Mickey Cookie.

This cookie is exactly what it looks like: a large, Mickey-shaped, strawberry-flavored sugar cookie with strawberry icing on top. You could definitely taste the strawberry in here, but it was yummy!

We also snagged the Strawberry Krispy Treat. This one’s a strawberry-flavored Rice Krispy treat dipped in strawberry icing. It’s also coated in a crumb topping!

This one looks like a strawberry shortcake, but the Cast Member we spoke with confirmed it’s not. But like the Mickey Cookie, it is strong on the strawberry! If you’re a fan of that flavor, you’d probably enjoy this. If not, we’d suggest you steer clear — there’s really no way to get around the taste. Both snacks were $5.49 apiece!

And if you just CAN’T get enough strawberry, you’ll find a few other treats behind the glass. There are strawberry marshmallow pops and cupcakes, too!

This kinda reminds us of when pineapple took over Disney World a few months ago. We guess strawberry’s the newest trend!
