Review: Shh! There’s Something HIDDEN in Disney World’s New Loki-Inspired Treat
We’ve been celebrating the premiere of Loki ALL day today!
And you may remember that we clued you in on some new treats that were debuting in Disney Springs for the occasion. Now, we frequently see new eats when Disney comes out with a movie or TV show, so no surprise here. But how do these Loki-inspired snacks TASTE? That’s what we’re about to find out!
First, we stopped by Amorette’s Patisserie to give the new Loki Mousse Dome a try. This baby’s a lemon chiffon cake with dulcey mousse, green apple gelee, and salted caramel crisp pearls. It’ll cost ya $9!
This tasted just like a light, moist lemon cake! That lemon was the strongest flavor, but it wasn’t overpowering at all. We also got a nice crunch from those caramel pearls.
And the COOLEST thing about this cake?! Slice it open and you’ll see the Tesseract inside!
One downfall of this treat is that it’s very messy. No matter how carefully you munch, you’ll probably get some green on ya! But if you like fruity cakes (or are just a HUGE Loki fan), it’s definitely worth a try. Obsessed with chocolate or artificially sweet eats? You’ll probably wanna steer clear.
Next, we popped on over to The Ganachery to grab the Fractured Timeline. That’s a sour apple ganache pop, and it’s $7!
This one was REALLY good, too! The creamy sour apple filling tasted like tart candy, but it balanced well with the sweetness of the chocolate. And as for that chocolate shell — it’s high-quality, friends.
Like the Loki Mousse Dome, this one was messy. So grab some extra napkins! Because if you’re a fan of apples or sour candy, you’re gonna want to give this a try.
If you’re looking for a creative way to celebrate Loki, head on over to Disney Springs! These treats are limited-time, so they won’t stick around forever. And as always, stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news!
