Everything You Need to Know About the Weather in Disney World Next Week
It is officially the rainy season in Florida!
The start of June means that it’s also the start of hurricane season so rain will likely be a regular occurrence at Disney World for the coming months. If you’re headed to the Most Magical Place on Earth, you probably want to know how prepared you need to be for the precipitation. So, we’re bringing you a weather update for next week in Disney World!
Weather Forecast
According to The Weather Channel, the week is going to be pretty warm and the weather should be relatively consistent. Just watch out for those surprise storms!
The potential for storms is present every day this week — that’s even more rain than was predicted last week! Still, there’s a good amount of sun, too. Let’s check the exact predictions so that you can be prepared.
June 14th
Monday, June 14th will start the week with pretty similar temperatures to what we’ve been seeing. This week will primarily hang out in the high 80s and low 90s so it will be toasty. Monday is going to max out at an 88-degree high and we’ll see 75 degrees at night.
Next week is characterized by a moderate chance of rain pretty much every day. Still, the days are expected to have a mix of rain and sun so you likely won’t be stuck in storms the whole time.
June 15th
The next day, June 15th brings us a very similar forecast to the day before with a high of 88 degrees during the day and keeping that low down at a comfy 76 degrees.
Humidity is fairly high for most of next week (It is Florida, after all!), but Tuesday is the most humid.
June 16th
On Wednesday, June 16th, we’re going to see temps edge down just a little bit to 87 degrees during the day. Your low is going to edge down just a tad too.
The benefit of the rain next week is that it looks like we’ll be dealing with a lower UV Index than we’ve seen in many weeks. You’ll still need to wear that sunscreen, but the levels typically stay away from the maximum reading.
June 17th
For Thursday, June 17th, we’re seeing a day with the LOWEST temps of the whole week in the mid-80s and a beautiful evening at 74 degrees.
This forecast certainly looks like the most comfortable of the whole week! You might see storms, but the chance is on the low side so Thursday just might mean the perfect Disney day.
June 18th
The week continues with a jump UP in temperatures in the day and a mid 70s night on June 18th.
Back up into the 90-degree temperatures, it is! If you’re not used to heat, make sure you’re taking care of yourself and listening to your body on what can be surprisingly strenuous days in the theme parks.
June 19th
Saturday, June 19th brings us similar temps with a high in the low-90s. You could see some rain on Saturday too!
Here, we’ll see a 91-degree high and a 76-degree low.
June 20th
And we’ll wrap up our week on June 20th with still toasty temperatures and yet another day where you could see some rain.
Sunday has one of the higher rain chances of the week AND a higher UV Index, so have a plan if it starts to get too wet OR too hot outside.
Overview of the Week
Here is a full overview of the week according to The Weather Channel. Temperatures are projected to hang out in about the same place for the whole week. We’re looking at a range of 80s to 90s highs and 70s lows.

Tips for Weathering the Weather!
We’ve got you covered with some tips to help you out with next week’s weather!
Stay comfy and safe in the sun!
Even if this week has lower UV levels than weeks past, you still might be in the sun a LOT more than you usually are. You’ll need to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen and sunglasses, and take a break when you’re feeling too hot.
You might be surprised how easy it is to get dehydrated or deal with heat sickness when you’re walking MILES around a theme park in the hot sun — even with a brief reprieve of rain!

Get ready for rain!
Speaking of rain, you need to be prepared for a sudden shower! The storms are scattered and isolated for much of the week, so you might find yourself escaping any downpours, but it’s better to be safe than sorry!
Pack a rain layer in your park bag and make sure it’s relatively easy to access. There’s nothing worse than having to dig for the poncho at the bottom of your bag right as the skies open up!
