VIDEO: Adios Plant Donald! The Three Caballeros Animatronics are BACK in EPCOT

The Three Caballeros at Gran Fiesta Tour in EPCOT have been through quite the journey over the past few months.

Let’s Go for a Ride!

Donald was replaced by a plant, then the plant went missing, and all three Caballeros were replaced by cardboard cutouts. But, earlier today Disney shared that the Three Caballeros animatronics have finally made their way BACK to the ride so we went to check it out for ourselves!

We made our way to EPCOT today and over to the Mexico pavilion so we could see the refurbished Three Caballeros animatronics in person and we can confirm, they are officially BACK!!!

As Imagineer Zach Riddley shared earlier today, the animatronics have been restored using the latest technology. These animatronics have been around for quite some time. They began their journey in Magic Kingdom as part of the Mickey Mouse Revue, an opening day attraction.

Our Friends Have Returned!

Then, they were international stars, performing over in Tokyo Disneyland, before they finally made their way over to EPCOT.

While we did have a certain fondness for plant Donald, it was great to see these restored animatronics back in Gran Fiesta Tour today.
