PHOTOS: First Look at a Reopened Storytellers Cafe at Disneyland Resort

Disneyland Resort is continuing with its phased reopening, which means more restaurants are coming BACK!

Storytellers has reopened!

Recently, Blue Bayou reopened (with booze!), and we’re looking forward to the NEW eats at Avengers Campus, too. But today, we stopped by Storytellers Cafe for its grand reopening!

First, we’ll want to note that character dining is not currently available here. But this spot is open for a three-course breakfast and dinner, so we popped in to give it a try!

Atmosphere

Storytellers Cafe is located at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, and it’s ALL about that classic Disney story.

Like stepping into a fairy tale

And the details here reflect that — this cafe is simply beautiful. And as we’ve seen in other Disneyland restaraunts, tables are spread out to allow for social distancing.

Overall, it is a beautiful restaurant and the health and safety guidelines look very similar to what we’ve seen at other restaurants in Disneyland and Disney World.

Menu

Like we mentioned, Storytellers Cafe offers a three-course meal. Menus are available via QR code currently to avoid more contact.

For breakfast, your meal will cost ya $29 per adult (and $20 per kiddo!). Dinner is $39 for adults and $25 for little ones. The first course includes an assortment of mini croissants, mini muffins, or mini danishes!

The entrees for breakfast include typically breakfast fare like oatmeal, pancakes, Mickey waffles, and more!

To drink, you can choose from a selection of non-alcoholic beverages and a few alcoholic beverages including a Bloody Mary and Mimosa.

For our breakfast, we got a plate of fruit…

…and received an Assortment of Mini Croissants, Mini Danishes, and Mini Muffins.

We also dug into some Oatmeal with honey, brown sugar, sliced bananas, and strawberries…

…as well as an American Breakfast plate that includes 2 eggs any style, breakfast potatoes, a choice of bacon or sausage, and choice of toast.

And of course, there were Mickey Waffles!

Can’t have breakfast without Mickey waffles!
