Over HALF of Our Readers WON’T Stay at Disney World’s Newest Hotel
Even though it’s not opening until next year, we’re getting excited for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser!

This “hotel” is actually more of a 2-night experience, and it will throw guests straight into the middle of their very own Star Wars adventure. There will be cool restaurants, a lightsaber training experience, and SO much more. And it all sounds like a ton of fun!
But while this may be a Star Wars fan’s dream come true, it’s NOT for everyone. For starters, the 2 days you’re onboard the Halcyon (that’s the fancy ship you’ll be staying on) are dedicated exclusively to Star Wars activities. That means no trips over to Magic Kingdom for a Dole Whip! Although there will be an escape to Hollywood Studios. And while Disney hasn’t announced what the cost will look like for a stay here, our readers are guessin’ it’ll be PRICEY.

Of course, we wanted to figure out exactly WHO would be willing to splurge for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. So we did what we do best here at DFB: asked our readers on Instagram! And here’s what you said when asked if you planned on staying at Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser:

That’s right: over half of our readers said they didn’t plan on staying at Galactic Starcruiser when it opens! Now, this could have a lot to do with the restricted activities and suspected priciness…or maybe this experience is better suited for MEGA Star Wars fans. Either way, it doesn’t look like a TON of people will be itching to stay here!

Now, this could work out in Disney’s favor. Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser seems like it will be a bit on the small side for a Disney hotel, so it likely won’t have the same type of availability as other resorts. And even with 58% of our readers saying they’d pass on a visit here, we’re guessing this hotel will book FAST.
