15 Photos From a CROWDED Weekend in Disney World
Hello to all our DFB Friends! We’re where we always are — at Disney World!
And while we’ve been eyeing some new merchandise, eating some snacks, and watching Harmonious testing, we’ve also just been enjoying our time at the parks! But it’s been a BUSY weekend, so we thought we’d share some photos with you to show you what it’s like.
EPCOT
Of all the parks, EPCOT certainly felt the most crowded. We’ll admit that we haven’t seen this many people there in a LONG time.
There was quite the line at Fife and Drum Tavern in World Showcase!
Some of the pavilions were really busy. Here’s what Germany looked like.
France, though, was even more packed!
And our go-to snack spot at EPCOT, Les Halles Boulangerie and Patisserie had a pretty long line today!
The recent price increases there don’t seem to have deterred guests from wanting that yumminess.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Walking into Disney’s Hollywood Studios revealed quite a few crowds, too.
Toy Story Land was pretty busy.
However, wait times weren’t that bad! Toy Story Mania had about a 40-minute wait. The line is also still socially distanced, so it looks longer than others where the distancing markers have been removed.
And, honestly, the crowds in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge weren’t TOO bad compared to other areas in the park. The wait time for Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run was 60 minutes, though.
The wait time for Muppet*Vision 3D was only 10 minutes!
We’d expect a longer wait for something that provides a place to sit AND air conditioning (it’s hot out, y’all).

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Disney’s Animal Kingdom was probably the least crowded park this weekend. Right now, this is THE park to go to when you get tired of the crowds because there is plenty of room to spread out.
There was still a long line for Na’vi River Journey, though — guests had a 40-minute wait. But we’ve seen it a LOT longer, so that’s not TOO bad.
Guests only had to wait 25 minutes for Dinosaur, though. Let’s go get that dino!
Considering how hot it’s been this weekend, we expected a longer line at Kali River Rapids, but it was only about 20 minutes when we passed. This ride WILL get you wet, so it’s pretty popular in the summer!
Overall, it seems like EPCOT is the busiest park this weekend, and that might have something to do with guests enjoying the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival. But we’ll keep tracking the crowds and let you know what they’re like throughout the summer!
