What’s New in EPCOT: FREE Souvenirs and a NIGHTMARE Clock.
It’s springtime in Disney World!
And where better to spend the spring season than EPCOT where the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is in full swing! We’ve visited this park a few times in the past few days and now we’re bringing you an update on everything NEW!
EPCOT Food Updates
Mitsukoshi Department Store
First up, at Mitsukoshi Department Store in the Japan Pavilion, there’s a strawberry snack display up. How cute!
Pizza al Taglio
The Italy Pavilion’s pizza window, Pizza al Taglio, is still open as Disney World remains busy.
EPCOT Construction Updates
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival
While we were exploring EPCOT today, we spotted that botanical Cast Members were out maintaining the very cool topiaries in place for the Flower and Garden Festival.
One of them even let us in on one of the secrets to keeping the topiaries in ship shape!

Plus there’s a new presentation as a part of the festival — Growing the Future by MuRata and Science from Scientists!
We watched one of these free events, learned a lot about soil, and even got to take home a FREE souvenir!

Harmonious — A Nighttime Spectacular
One day we visited, we spotted that the fifth and FINAL barge has been added to World Showcase Lagoon as work continues on the upcoming nighttime spectacular, Harmonious.
The site certainly isn’t the prettiest right now, but we’re still hopeful for when the fountain and show debut.

Then, on our next visit, we spotted that one of the barges was briefly spraying water.
The spray lasted for about a minute and didn’t happen again. And they were light testing!

Germany Pavilion
And a little bit of a nightmare update for you. The scary cuckoo clock in the Germany Pavilion was stuck open. Yikes!
