REVIEW: We Had a WHOLE BUCKET of Ice Cream at Disney’s Blizzard Beach

As we’ve explored the grand reopening of Blizzard Beach, we’ve been sipping on the Black Cherry Frozen Lemonade, snacking on a Honey-Butter Chicken Sandwich, and even refilling our own Refillable Mugs in the park today.
But, it wouldn’t be a trip to a theme park without a form of dessert, right? While today was a bit cooler than usual in Orlando, the sun was still shining at Blizzard Beach. So, we decided that ice cream was the way to go… especially since you can eat a whole sand pail filled with soft serve and toppings as the perfect Disney snack!
I.C. Expeditions
Aptly named just the “Sand Pail” at I.C. Expeditions, this huge sundae comes with Chocolate and Vanilla Soft-serve Ice Cream, Waffle Pieces, Sprinkles, Cookie Pieces, Hot Fudge, Caramel Sauce, Whipped Cream, and a Cherry. Don’t worry — that description had us drooling too.

You might not want to make any changes to that masterpiece, BUT a Cast Member did tell us that you can get just chocolate or vanilla ice cream instead of a swirl. Regardless of what soft-serve is your preference, the finished product actually made us want to sing a “Hallelujah” chorus.
Sand Pail Sundae
The sundae had so many textures with all those ingredients from the soft ice cream to the crunchy waffles pieces. And, the combination of a cold treat and warm hot fudge was the finishing touch that made the Sand Pail a winner for us. Oh, and did we mention the fact we literally needed a SHOVEL to dig into this massive sundae?!

Yup, It Definitely Has That “Wow” Factor
For how much ice cream that’s actually put in this huge sundae, the $13.99 price tag is ABSOLUTELY worth it! If you’re going with a group, it’s especially great since you can snag some extra spoons and share it amongst yourselves. Or, hey, you could keep it all to yourself!
