Our Day in EPCOT: Flower and Garden Festival PRICES and a Closed Dining Location
Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at EPCOT!
And, with the 2021 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival kicking off tomorrow, we’ve got a lot of spring updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s jump right on in!
EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival Update
Outdoor Kitchen Menus
We are in the final countdown to the opening of the outdoor kitchens for the festival and they’re perched and ready to serve! We spotted lots of the menus and prices at the new and returning food booths on our recent visit.
We even were able to catch a glance at the NEW Sunshine Griddle booth. This spot will be serving up gourmet breakfast items like trendy Acavado Toast and we can’t wait to feel all hip and cool stuffing our faces with bread.
We will say, after walking around and checking out all of the menus, we were pretty hungry so they better be ready for us tomorrow!

Beauty and the Beast Topiary
Topiaries started showing up in EPCOT a bit ahead of schedule this year, but we didn’t mind! And, one of the returning favorites is the Beauty and the Beast Topiary. But, a few changes have already been made to this topiary.
Belle’s skirt was missing the details and she was wearing what looked to be a shawl (as you can see in the photo above).
But the skirt details have been added and the strange shawl-looking thing around her has been removed.
Now she’s looking picture-perfect for the festival tomorrow.

Musical Performance
Carol Stein is a singer and pianist that usually sets up shop in the UK pavilion’s Rose and Crown Pub. When Disney World reopened, Carol returned to play at the UK pavilion gazebo instead and we spotted her playing as we wandered through!
When we stopped to say hi, Carol let us know that she will be playing in the World Showplace Pavilion once again during the Flower and Garden Festival! We knew that a pianist was part of the entertainment plans for the festival and we’re excited that Carol will be one of the performers!
Plus, we might have to crown her queen of the Flower and Garden outfits! Just look at that seasonal top!
An All-New Concert Experience Is Coming to EPCOT’s 2021 Flower and Garden Festival
EPCOT Food Update
Garden House
Garden House is an outdoor sake bar located in the Japan Pavilion. Thus far, the location has been open on a seasonal basis (opening mostly around EPCOT festivals) and it is BACK for the Flower and Garden Festival!
We spoke to a Cast Member who said that the location should be open regularly on weekdays now, so you can get your sake fix (served hot or cold) on Monday through Friday when you visit!
Eats at EPCOT Experience
On our visit, we also stopped into the Eats at the EPCOT Experience to see if they had any special offerings coming up for the festival and instead of a new menu we found that it was closed!
We asked a Cast Member when the location might open back up but they weren’t positive so we’ll be keeping an eye out!
EPCOT Merchandise Update
Mitsukoshi
And, it wouldn’t be a trip around the world showcase if we didn’t stop into the unique shop in the Japan pavilion, Mitsukoshi. We’re lucky we did! There was a new display of lucky cat merchandise. The cat figurine is thought to bring good luck to its owner and there was a lot to choose from.
There were lucky cats of all sizes and even some miniature ones that you could choose your favorite color!
That’s all for our day at EPCOT! The Flower and Garden Festival begins TOMORROW so you know we’ll be back to try all the food and drink. Oh, and of course we’ll be taking you along with us so stay tuned to DFB!
