It’s Looking Easier to Get on Your Favorite Disney World Rides!
Hello DFB friends! It’s time to check out the weekly wait times in Disney World!
The wait times have been poppin’ in Disney World recently, and this week is no exception. However, many fan-favorite rides have seen a decrease in average times. We’re here to take a look at the average wait times in ALL four Disney World theme parks!
Magic Kingdom
Last week, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest wait in Magic Kingdom and in all of Disney World. This week, an Animal Kingdom attraction cut off its winning streak since the train ride was just 62 minutes.
Other wait times for thrill rides include Space Mountain averaged 35 minutes, Splash Mountain averaging 56 minutes (which is 12 minutes higher than last week), and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad averaged 44 minutes. Last week, Splash Mountain seems to be all over the place, because after going down 19 minutes last week, it jumped back up again by 12 minutes! Other high wait times include Pirates of the Caribbean at 48 minutes.
Attractions with wait times in the 30s include Jungle Cruise and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 38 minutes, “it’s a small world” at 36 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight and Astro Orbiter at 33 minutes, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin with 32 minutes.
Rides with average waits in the 20s include Mickey’s PhilarMagic at 24 minutes, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh with a 23-minute wait time, Mad Tea Party at 21 minutes, and Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid, Haunted Mansion and The Barnstormer at 20 minutes.
With waits in the teens, we saw The Magic Carpets of Aladdin and Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 15 minutes, and Tomorrowland Speedway at 14 minutes.
An attraction with a pretty short wait time is the Carousel of Progress at 8 minutes, and Country Bear Jamboree at 10 minutes.
Just like the weeks before, there were a handful of attractions with zero minute wait times, including Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, and Enchanted Tiki Room. The Hall of Presidents is currently under refurbishment.
With the exception of Splash Mountain, a lot of wait times for thrill rides and fan-favorites have gone down this week!

EPCOT
Test Track continues to have the longest wait in EPCOT this week at 38 minutes. But this week, the time went WAY down from last week’s 58 minutes average time! Each week, this time continues to drop, so now is the time to head to Test Track.
Other popular attractions like Soarin‘ (31 minutes), Frozen After Ever (29 minutes), and Mission: SPACE (25 minutes) also had average wait times that went down by a bit.
The rest of EPCOT saw fairly low average wait times as usual, including Spaceship Earth with 15 minutes, Journey Into Imagination with Figment with 12 minutes, The Seas with Nemo & Friends with 7 minutes, the Gran Fiesta Tour with 8 minutes, and Living with the Land with 6 minutes.
Just like past weeks, all of the films in EPCOT had a zero minute wait, which includes Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Awesome Planet, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China. American Adventure.
The Flower and Garden Festival officially kicked off on Wednesday of this week, which is why we could be seeing a drop in several wait times! The festivals tend to draw crowds towards the booths and activities, so not as many guests are visiting the rides all day.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The longest wait time in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is still Tower of Terror with 60 minutes. Slinky Dog Dash was not far behind with 59 minutes!
Other attractions also had wait times that decreased this week like Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run with 52 minutes, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 43 minutes, and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster averaged 36 minutes.
Below those times we’ve got Star Tours at 30 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy averaged 30 minutes, and Toy Story Mania averaged 31 minutes.
Muppet*Vision 3D and Alien Swirling Saucers saw average wait times of 27 minutes which makes them the lowest in the park. Keep in mind that Rise of the Resistance is not included in these numbers due to its virtual queue.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Both attractions in Pandora — the Land of Avatar are still dominating Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Flight of Passage has a long wait at 48 minutes this week, but Na’vi River Journey took the crown again with 65 minutes.
Dinosaur had an average wait time of 30 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris had an average wait time of 26 minutes, Expedition Everest had an average wait time of 13 minutes, and It’s Tough to Be a Bug had an average wait time of 19 minutes. That’s right, Everest had a lower wait time than the It’s Tough to Be a Bug show!
Triceratop Spin continued to have the shortest wait time in the park of 7 minutes. Kali River Rapids is currently under refurbishment.
This week’s average wait times went down quite a bit from last week! We hope this look at average wait times helps those of you prepping for a Disney trip soon. Stay tuned to DFB, and check for our weekly wait times next week!
