Did You Know This Disney Springs Spot Has a Secret Drink Menu?!

We love bringing ya secret menu items from all around Disney World!

Disney Springs

We’ve shown you exclusive Annual Passholder eats from Animal Kingdom, a top-secret new menu item at the Spring Roll Cart in Magic Kingdom, and more. But today, we’re hopping over to Disney Springs to tell you ALL about some top-secret food and drinks up for grabs at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar.

We know and love Jock Lindsey’s as an Indiana Jones-themed spot that specializes in cocktails and tapas. And boy do we have some new cocktails to show ya! There’s 4 (yes, we said FOUR) cocktails on this restaurant’s secret menu! Plus, there’s some new dishes to try, too.

Look at alll that food!

As far as specialty sips go, we’ve got the Lucky Lindy and the Bully Mammoth

…as well as the Starry Night Mojito and the Oxygen Tank! And of course, we had to give each one a try.

We kicked things off with the Lucky Lindy. It’s got Byejoe Dragon Fire Jameson (that baby’s got CHILI in it) with hibiscus, lime juice, pineapple, and white cranberry juice. It’s a pretty sip, but it’s very floral, so if you don’t like those sweet notes you’ll want to pass. We noticed the hibiscus and Jameson carried the strongest flavors.

On to the Bully Mammoth! This one takes Jock Lindsey’s Teddy Tea (a non-alcoholic specialty drink that features green tea with mint and tangerine) and throws in some mandarin vodka. It was our favorite cocktail of the four! The mint in the tea tapered down the sweetness, and orange fans will love the citrusy taste.

Next we tried the Starry Night Mojito, which is your everyday mojito with Starr African Rum. It’s a basic sip with nothing special in terms of its flavor profile — but it’s a solid mojito! It’s refreshing and not too sweet.

Last up is that Oxygen Tank! This one pairs the non-alcoholic Diving Bell (that’s a lemonade and watermelon combo) with watermelon vodka. And guys, it tastes JUST like cotton candy. If you’re a fan of the super sweet, this drink is MADE for you!

The drinks were all great, but we’re not done just yet. There’s also secret FRIES! They’re house fries with garlic ranch, and they’re cut in-house, marinated in malt vinegar, and then fried. Our mouths are watering, people.

We NEEDED these fries.

We’ve gotta say, these are some of the best fries we’ve EVER had. They were simple but crisped to perfection. And since the kitchen was out of the garlic ranch (womp, womp), we sampled them with the aioli that normally comes with the empanadas. They were still tasty! Sometimes we’ve gotta improvise.

We tried some aioli instead!

That’s all for the secret menu, but we’re not done tasting just yet! There’s a brand-new flatbread on the menu, too. The Berbere Flank Steak Flatbread features Romesco sauce, manchego, arugula, and peppadew peppers, and it’ll cost ya $9.

There was a ton of flavor packed into this flatbread! The arugula was tossed in lemon, brightening the profile, but there was a slight heat from the African spices and peppers. We really enjoyed it!

Looks tasty!

Phew! That was a lot of new food! If you’re in Disney Springs and want to try something new, swing by Jock Lindsey’s and ask for something off their secret menu! You won’t see these items (except that new flatbread) printed on the menu, so you’ll have to ask for them by name. As always, stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news!
