ALL the Rides and Hotels That Are CLOSED in March in Disney World

Disney World is currently operating at limited capacity due to health and safety regulations.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Although some resorts, restaurants, and attractions have plans to reopen, many remain closed. Others are unavailable for temporary, scheduled refurbishments. We’ve been keeping tabs on all of these closures. To help you plan your vacation, here are all the hotels and attractions that will be closed in Disney World in March 2021!

Disney World Resorts

Closed Resorts

We’re slowly getting opening announcements for Disney’s resorts — some of these will even open in the coming months! However, the following hotels are currently closed:

Animal Kingdom Lodge

Open for DVC Guests and Dining Visitors

Many of the Disney Vacation Club Villas in these “closed” resorts are open for guests! Select restaurants are also open for guests with reservations. Here are all the resorts open for DVC reservations and dining:

  • Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village and Jambo House
  • Boulder Ridge Villas and Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
  • Beach Club Villas
  • Boardwalk Villas
  • Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn

Resort Reopen Dates

Disney has announced reopening dates for 4 of their resorts. Keep in mind, though, that while Disney’s Polynesian Village is currently open for dining and DVC guests, it’s undergoing some serious construction. The monorail platform has been demolished, and the entrance, lobby, and guest rooms are all being reimagined.

Disney World Attractions

Attractions Closed for Refurbishments

While some attractions are closed for scheduled refurbishment, others have no announced reopening date. Here are all the rides currently closed for refurb, along with their expected opening dates. Keep in mind these dates are all subject to change!

Magic Kingdom Attractions with No Scheduled Reopen Dates

Other attractions are closed due to health and safety precautions — or due to Disney’s limited operations. The splash zones and play areas are high-touch areas and have been closed for safety. The following Magic Kingdom attractions will be closed in March:

  • Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station
  • Enchanted Tales with Belle
  • Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade
  • Main Street Vehicles
  • Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor
  • A Pirate’s Adventure — Treasures of the Seven Seas

  • Turtle Talk with Crush
  • Advanced Training Lab
  • Bruce’s Shark World
  • Project Tomorrow: Inventing the Wonders of the Future

  • Star Wars: Launch Bay
  • Voyage of the Little Mermaid
  • Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage
  • Fantasmic!
  • Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular
