Three Florida Children’s Hospitals Receive Vibrant Art and Interactive Tech from Disney

Disney World has extended a bit of uplifting magic to three children’s hospitals in Central Florida.

Disney’s Reimagining of Children’s Hospitals

Last year, Disney announced the company would reimagine the hospitals with familiar characters and playful features. Disney has given us a look a the interactive technology and art that have been installed at AdventHealth for Children, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, and Nemours Children’s Hospital.

Disney has reimagined the hospitals so patients and their families can find more ease in their environment and lessen anxiety during their stay. The new additions by Disney allows engagement with installations that feature Disney characters and stories. You can see in the video that the murals are interactive with smart devices and kids are greeted by characters through digital windows.

The updates are a part of Disney’s $100 million plan to reimagine patient experiences in children’s hospitals and grant eligible Disney wishes. The reimagined hospitals are one step towards this goal.
