NEWS: Room Refurbishment Coming Soon to Disney’s Contemporary Resort
There are quite a few construction and refurbishment projects going on around Disney World. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is currently undergoing a big refurbishment, with some Moana themed elements coming to its guest rooms in the future. The pool at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn has also undergone some refurbishment, and there are other projects going on related to the Tomorrolwnad Transit Authority PeopleMover and more!
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Soon, another refurbishment project will be added to the list over at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Earlier today, we were checking room availability at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and noticed that the availability of some rooms at the Contemporary was more limited beginning in April of 2021.

So, we reached out to a Cast Member via chat and the Cast Member informed us that “As part of continued improvement, Disney’s Contemporary Resort will undergo refurbishments in the Main Tower Guest Rooms from April to September, 2021.”

Of course, these refurbishment dates are subject to change, so we’ll keep an eye out for more details. We’re not entirely sure what this refurbishment will consist of, but we’ll definitely be on the lookout for more information and we’ll let you know what we find. In the meantime, be aware that refurbishments in the Main Tower Guest rooms are set to take place this year, which might limit the availability of some rooms at the Contemporary during that time.
