Is The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine Worth the $30 at Festival of the Arts in EPCOT?

It’s time to get artsy, friends! The 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts has officially kicked off in Disney World (and we’re take you with us LIVE)!

Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine

Although the Festival of the Holidays just ended in EPCOT, the Festival of the Arts is changing gears to feature the culinary, visual, and performing arts. And, a fun activity for the entire family — the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine — is back this year. Last year, we explored the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine to see if it was worth spending the money on. Now, we’re back to explore it again.

While we’ve seen similar entertainment recently with the Cookie Stroll during the Festival of the Holidays, the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine takes guests on a tour of the food booths around EPCOT! Guests can pick up a festival passport to to purchase the five items on the list for a prize. You must purchase all the items on the list and receive your stamp to get the “free” completer cookie.

Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine

Mouskoutchou at Mosaic Canteen

We’re kicking this off with Orange! As you can see in the list above, you must purchase the new Mouskoutchou: orange cake with cinnamon-orange chocolate mousse from Mosaic Canteen. When we reviewed this earlier, we LOVED the citrus flavors of this treat!

Mouskoutchou

We didn’t taste much of the cinnamon, but the orange flavors are the star in this yummy concoction! You can grab this one for $4.75.

Blue Corn Pupusa at Vibrante & Vivido

The color blue will be represented by Blue Corn Pupusa stuffed with cheese and topped with shredded pork, Guajillo and Árbol chile sauce, cabbage slaw, and Aji amarillo crema from Vibrante & Vivido for $6.50. We loved exploring this new booth and the blue Colorful Cuisine option does not disappoint.

All the flavors meshed really well together and this one was a hit with us!

Remy’s Ratatouille at Festival Favorites

The color Red is represented by Remy’s Ratatouille, which is made with eggplant, zucchini, yellow squash, tomatoes, and red pepper piperade from Festival Favorites. We didn’t necessarily love this dish and would have preferred if it would have been served warm.

Remy’s Ratatouille

The ratatouille is $5. This isn’t our favorite of the five and we honestly wish another option was here instead, as there are SO many great eats at this festival.

Pistachio Cake at The Painter’s Palate

Next up was Green, which is the Pistachio Cake with cherry mousse and Morello cherries from The Painter’s Palate. This dessert was pretty complex with a lot going on, but the presentation was lovely!

Pistachio Cake with Cherry Mousse and Morello Cherries

The cake itself didn’t have a lot of flavor, but we really liked the cherry-shaped treats that turned out to be chocolate! The cherry mousse is tart, so it works well with the sweeter elements on the plate. This treat is $5.50.

Vanilla, Rose Water, and Pistachio Panna Cotta at Masterpiece Kitchen

It’s time to collect the Pink sticker. And this was the Vanilla, Rose Water, and Pistachio Panna Cotta from Masterpiece Kitchen. We’ve been impressed with this rose-shaped dessert before, and this year was no different!

Vanilla, Rose Water and Pistachio Panna Cotta

Priced at $8, it’s also one of the prettiest things you can eat at this year’s festival! But it’s more than just a pretty face — it’s tasty, too.

And, there you have it! All five stickers collected!

Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine

The Prize!

Once you’ve visited each of the five locations for your goodies, you can pick up a complimentary treat as your prize from Decadent Delights: The technicolor Artist Palette Cookie.

Completer Cookie

Last year, this came with a cup of strawberry milk and the different paint colors looked more like splatters. While this cookie is fun, we really loved the offering last year and kind of miss the more special touches.

Overall

Completing the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine will cost you about $29.75 (which is about $5 cheaper than last year) before you get that completer cookie. Last year, we were more pleased overall with the options. We do think this is a fun and unique way to step out of your comfort zone and to try new things, but it can be a little pricey if you know you may not like some of the items. So think about that before diving in!

But, the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine isn’t the only experience you can have in Disney World during the Festival of the Arts! We’ll give you a look at all the sips, snacks, and entertainment you can find in EPCOT now through February 22nd! Stay tuned with DFB for more details!
