Disney World Park Hours and Park Pass Availability For the Week of January 3rd
The first full week of 2021 has arrived and it’s shaping up to be full of exciting things!
Not only will this be the first full week of Park Hopping returning since the parks reopened, but next week also marks the beginning of the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! If you’re going to be in Disney World the week of January 3rd, we have all the park hour information as well as current Park Pass Reservation availability!
Disney World Park Hours the Week of January 3rd
Magic Kingdom will be open daily from 8AM-8PM. Park Hopper Hours next week will be from 2PM-8PM daily. Keep in mind that across all four theme parks, you cannot park hop until 2PM each day.
EPCOT will be open daily from 11AM-9PM, with Park Hopper Hours taking place between 2PM-9PM daily. Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts begins on Friday, January 8th, and will have the same daily hours of operation as the park (11AM-9PM).
For the week of January 3rd, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be open from 9AM-7PM daily. Park Hopper Hours will be available between 2PM-7PM daily.
Finally, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be open daily next week from 8AM-6PM. Park Hopping will be allowed from 2PM-6PM.
With the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts beginning next week, we’re glad to see that EPCOT is continuing to stay open a little later than the rest of Disney World! That gives us MORE time to try all the unique dishes from around the park!
If you are looking to Park Hop next week, EPCOT currently has the longest Park Hopper window (seven hours), as opposed to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which currently has the shortest Park Hopper window (only four hours). Note that you MUST have a confirmed Park Pass Reservation for the FIRST theme park you plan on visiting on any given day, and you must be scanned into that first park before you can park hop elsewhere.

Current Disney Park Pass Reservation Availability the Week of January 3rd
Let’s now take a look at the current Park Pass Reservation availability for the week of January 3rd! As a reminder, if you have a Park Hopper ticket, you will want to look at the availability calendar for the FIRST park you are planning on visiting each day. Currently, you do NOT need a Park Pass Reservation for any park you hop to after you visit your first park.
Disney Resort Guests
Sunday, January 3rd through Wednesday, January 6th, Disney Resort Guests can still make a Park Pass Reservation at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
For the remainder of the week (Thursday, January 7th through Saturday, January 9th), Disney Resort Guests can book a Park Pass Reservation at all four theme parks!
Theme Park Ticket Guests
As of this writing, Theme Park Ticket Guests have the same Park Pass Reservation availability as Disney Resort Guests, as is often the case! From Sunday, January 3rd through Wednesday, January 6th, Theme Park Ticket Guests may make a Park Pass Reservation at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
From Thursday, January 7th through Saturday, January 9th, just like Resort Guests, a Theme Park Ticket Guest can currently book a Park Pass Reservation at any of the four theme parks.
Annual Passholders
Like we’ve seen in previous weeks, Annual Passholder availability is a little different than Resort Guests and Theme Park Ticket Guests. Currently, all four theme parks are booked for Sunday, January 3rd and Annual Passholders cannot book a Reservation at this time.
On January 4th, 5th, 6th, and 9th, Annual Passholders can book a Park Pass Reservation at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
And on January 7th and 8th, Annual Passholders can currently book a Park Pass Reservation at any of the four theme parks.
As a reminder, Disney World updates their Park Pass Reservation availability frequently, so be sure to triple check their calendar ahead of your visit if you still haven’t booked those Reservations! We’ll be back next week with more Park Hour and Park Pass planning information to make sure you can tackle Disney World like a pro!
