ALL the Disney World Hotels and Rides That Are CLOSED in January
Disney World is currently operating under new health mandates and limited operations. The regulations were implemented when the theme parks reopened in July.
Over the last several months, Disney has been adjusting to crowds and other factors by slowly reopening more resorts, restaurants, and more. Some facilities and accommodations have remained closed and others have scheduled reopening dates in the coming months. Also, some attractions are down for refurbishments. To help you prepare, we’ve listed EVERY Disney World attraction and resort that is closed in January 2021!
Disney World Resorts

Disney World Attractions
Attractions Closed for Refurbishments
Much like the resorts, some attractions are temporarily closed with no official reopen date. These rides and shows are closed due to the limited operations and health restrictions. Magic Kingdom Attractions with No Scheduled Reopen Dates
The remaining attractions are closed for various reasons. Some include shows that are reliant on Equity Actors, many of which haven’t returned. Magic Kingdom has the following attractions closed this month.

- Enchanted Tales with Belle
- Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade
- Main Street Vehicles
- Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor
- A Pirate’s Adventure — Treasures of the Seven Seas

- Turtle Talk with Crush
- Advanced Training Lab
- Bruce’s Shark World
- Project Tomorrow: Inventing the Wonders of the Future
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Attractions with No Scheduled Reopen Dates

- Star Wars: Launch Bay
- Voyage of the Little Mermaid
- Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage
- Fantasmic!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Attractions with No Scheduled Reopen Dates
The two crowd-favorite live shows are not currently running in Animal Kingdom and there have been no official announcements about a reopening timeline. Plus, the playground located in DinoLand, USA is closed as well.

- Festival of the Lion King
- Finding Nemo: The Musical
In addition to the attractions and hotels, both Disney World water parks are currently closed. However, Blizzard Beach is set to reopen on March 7th, 2021.

We’ll keep you updated when we learn an official opening date for Gideon’s Bakehouse and other Disney World locations!
