What’s New in Magic Kingdom: Holiday Crowds and the RETURN of a Fan-Favorite Attraction Ornament!
Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Magic Kingdom!
And, we’ve got plenty of food, merchandise, and entertainment updates to share with you. So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!
Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update
Emporium
We’ve loved snuggling with our pets throughout the holiday season. And, Christmas is definitely the time to show off your love of pets with the newest Dog and Cat Tote Bags for $34.99 each. The Disney Dog Tote features some of our favorite pups from Disney movies…
…like the Dalmatians, Trusty, Jock, Percy, and more!
Plus, the tote has the Walt Disney World logo adorned with paw prints for an extra flair of fun.
The cat fans can also pick up the Disney Cat Tote to take home with them…
…featuring characters like Marie, Yzma the Cat, Lucifer, and others!
Although you might be getting your friends and families something sweet for Christmas, why not treat your pets to the newest Lady and the Tramp Pet Spirit Jersey too?
The light blue jersey features Lady and Tramp sharing a plate of spaghetti during a romantic evening outside. Buuut, we think your pup will look just as cute wearing the jersey for $36.99, whether they are eating, playing, or sleeping at home!
Now we’ll just have to patiently wait for Disney to release one for the owners so we can match with our best pals!
Take a look at the sweet Lady and the Tramp Pet Spirit Jersey here!
The Christmas Shoppe
While we’ve already seen Disney World’s version of the Haunted Mansion Ornament, the Disneyland version of the attraction with its Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay is also in the stores!
Since Disneyland typically decorates the ride with The Nightmare Before Christmas features for the holidays, the ornament shows off the facade of the mansion and some of the decorations that would usually inside of it.
We previously spotted it online, but the ornament sold out very quickly. However, guests can hop over to The Christmas Shoppe to snag the restocked Disneyland Haunted Mansion Ornament for $29.99.
Find out all the details on the Disneyland Haunted Mansion Ornament here!
We’ve reached the end of the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction series with the Nighttime Castle and Grand Finale Collection! Throughout the Magic Kingdom’s stores, the new Fireworks Ears are still available to guests…
…while the Fireworks Pins have been restocked for guests to add to the rest of their Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction series at home!
How many Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction series have you collected merchandise from over the past year?

Magic Kingdom Food Update
When we were feeling a bit hungry, we made our way over to the Plaza Restaurant on Main Street for a lovely afternoon lunch with a gorgeous view of Cinderella Castle.
We had a full meal with the Wedge Salad…
…Loaded Fries…
…and Plaza Club Sandwich! We’ll be bringing you our full review of our visit to the Plaza Restaurant soon!
Magic Kingdom Entertainment Update
The crowds weren’t super busy in the parks compared to the huge amount of people heading to Disney World for the holidays that we’ve seen previously!
While there weren’t as many people over in Fantasyland…
…some of the smaller areas, like in Frontierland, got a bit busier as guests headed to their favorite attractions.
Restaurants also got more crowded with guests waiting in line to pick up Dole Whips…
…but the BIGGEST crowds we saw in Disney World were during the evening as everyone gathered to watch the castle projections.
Magic Kingdom reminded us a lot of one of the nights where fireworks would usually be showing in the parks…
…even though there are only projections on Cinderella Castle at the moment (as fireworks are being tested in the Magic Kingdom without guests there).
While we will be keeping an eye on crowds throughout the rest of the holiday season at Christmas and New Year’s, we’ll keep you updated on what you can expect before you head back to the parks!
Well, that’s all for this What’s New at Magic Kingdom! We’ll catch you next time for more entertainment, merchandise, and food updates. And, if you have any questions about your upcoming Disney vacation, let us know so we can help you find the answers!
