PHOTOS: Oh What Fun! We Visited the Jolly Creek Holiday Festival!

Here at DFB, we’re all for the holidays.

Christmas on Main Street

That’s why we visited the Jolly Creek Holiday Festival in Kissimmee, just south of Disney World! This holiday event offers festive snacks, crafts, live music, a Santa meet-and-greet, and some gators!

Jolly Creek Holiday Festival Entertainment

The festival was decorated with lights, festive balloons, and even SNOAP!! It will be held on weekends through November and December, and then every day during the week of Christmas.

They had this convenient photo spot, decorated with lights and balloons.

Some of their decorations were pretty lively! We ran into this Dancing Tree gliding around on its own!

The festival also offers a few different kinds of entertainment. Its live performers include the Jolly Creek Society Orchestra (formerly the beloved Grand Floridian Society Orchestra), the Mistle-tones acapella group, and the Vocalitas!

The Vocalitas

The Mistle-tones may look familiar because they are also performers in the Frog Choir at Hogwarts at Universal Orlando Resort.

The Mistle-tones

It was nice to hear this orchestra again, since their 32-year run playing in the Grand Floridian Resort’s lobby came to an end earlier this year.

The seating for these performances was pretty spaced out so listeners can enjoy the music safely!

For kids and anyone who likes to get creative, they’re offering crafts! These crafts come at an extra cost, depending on which one you choose.

Guests can also purchase a s’mores kit for $6 (or $9.50 for a gluten-free option) for an outdoors-y dessert!

S’mores!

If you haven’t gotten the chance to go see the snoap at Disney World yet this year (that’s right, snow made of soap!), you’re in luck! Jolly Creek has some snoap of its own.

The festival also offers safely distanced meet and greets with Santa Claus!

Meet Santa!

And just in case you forget you’re in Florida, you can also sneak a peek at some baby alligators!

Gators!

The festival also offers holiday-themed shopping with local vendors. They offer wreaths and other festive decorations.

Be sure to check the website before you go to see which entertainment will be available for your visit!

Jolly Creek Holiday Festival Food

Now for one of the things that’s most important to us — FOOD! They offer a holiday-themed menu, including items like Ornament Pretzels & Cheese and a Holiday Turkey Sandwich.

Food menu

We tried the Feast Tots which include the staples of a traditional Thanksgiving meal like turkey, stuffing, gravy, and cranberry!

We also tried the Gator Bites, because, when in Florida!

Holiday drinks are also a specialty option at the festival! There are two themed drinks to fuel your Christmas cravings!

Drink menu

We tried the Florida Frosty which combines wine-based Vodka and Spiced Cranberry Sprite!

Jolly Creek Holiday Festival Health & Safety Measures

This event has a handful of procedures in place to ensure health and safety. Masks are required and temperature checks happen prior to entry. Tables and chairs are spaced out to allow for safe distances to be maintained. Even this Santa sticker has to wear a mask!

The Jolly Creek Holiday Festival is a fun and festive way to celebrate the holiday season! There are few different ticket options depending on the date, and a portion of the proceeds goes to the Second Harvest Food Bank. The Jolly Creek Society Orchestra performs each night, but the other entertainment changes nightly so make sure to check their website! We’ll keep you updated with more fun holiday events!
