PHOTOS and VIDEO: The Holidays Have Arrived in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom!
It’s officially CHRISTMASTIME in the Magic Kingdom!! And, we’re already craving a big cup of hot chocolate and a stroll through some snoap soon.
Recently, Disney released a TON of holiday merchandise and we started to see STARS in Hollywood Studios, which hinted at the start of the holiday season in the parks (even though it wasn’t even Halloween yet). But today Halloween is officially OVA, and holiday decor is arriving in Magic Kingdom!
Christmas looks a little different in the parks this year since Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has been canceled. There won’t be fireworks or Christmas stage shows, and Cinderella Castle won’t even be lit up in the classic holiday lights this year. Instead, Disney World will decorate the castle with projections.
But even with all that, there does seem to be a bit of continuity when it comes to the Christmas decor! And, we’re giving you a full look at all the wreaths, trees, and MORE we found in the Magic Kingdom today!

When guests first arrive to Main Street, U.S.A., they’re greeted by the bows and garlands on the decked out train station…
…where Mickey and Pluto are hanging out to wave to everyone!

After we chilled out with our best pals for a quick minute, we started to head into the rest of the park to experience the holiday magic! Right now, City Hall is looking merry and bright with poinsettias hanging up on the building.
Next door, the shops have decorated their windows with holiday delights! The emporium is ringing in the season with a pair of bells hanging outside of the store…
…while the inside has garlands strung across the rooms for some festive flair.
The decorations feel like they’re almost welcoming everyone into the Magic Kingdom to do their Christmas shopping!
We just hope that we made the Nice List after seeing all the ADORABLE holiday merchandise lining the shelves in the Emporium.

What gifts are you going to pick up for your family and friends this year??
Christmas has swept into the parks overnight because the Main Street tree is already up with ornaments and packages from Santa! We’re happy we can still take our annual holiday photos in front of this beauty again this year.
Isn’t she a beaut??

Just beyond, our walk down Main Street now feels like a Winter Wonderland as wreaths are everywhere you look (and we LOVE it).
Wreaths extend outward onto Main Street with faux wax candles that will make each night merry and bright throughout the holiday season…
…while the lampposts have also seen new decorations! Mickey wreaths have returned again this year to kick off Christmastime.
Plus, regular holiday wreaths can also be found on lampposts around the area with their ornaments, bows, and mistletoe.
The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor is sporting one of the BIGGEST wreaths on Main Street.
But, we decided to stop at the Main Street Bakery for our morning coffee to kick off the day instead!

As we were exploring, we heard familiar voices cascading down the street! And, the Dapper Dans cruised on down Main Street aboard the trolley, singing tunes for all to hear.

That wasn’t the only entertainment we spotted this morning, though! While we are waiting for themed cavalcades to arrive in the parks for Christmas, Goofy and his pals still were ready to have a blast in the Magic Kingdom today.

Still, one of our all-time favorite parts of the holidays is when Jungle Cruise sees its transformation into the JINGLE Cruise for Christmas. And, we got to experience our first ride of the season on the attraction (and our hearts are so full).

As we waited in line, Christmas tunes like “Mele Kalikimaka” played over the speakers as we admired the new decorations in the queue!

On top of the Christmas canes and lights strung throughout the line, the posts in the boarding area also had garlands wrapped around them.
