This Gingerbread Treat Arrived A Bit EARLY This Year in Disney World!
It’s mid-October which means Halloween is just around the corner!

That doesn’t stop Disney from getting into the Christmas spirit! We’ve already seen holiday face masks and new ornaments, but now they are starting to bring Christmas flavors into the parks!
Today, we stopped into the Karamell Küche shop in EPCOT’s Germany pavilion to see if there were any new caramel treats. That’s when we spotted something rather odd…gingerbread! We thought it was a little bit early for Christmas treats but of course we had to try it! This treat is the Gingerbread Salted Caramel Buttercream Cookie Sandwich!

Just look at all of that caramel goodness! This cookie sandwich is made with two gingerbread cookies and filled with salted caramel buttercream! We saw this treat here last year, but it didn’t stick around for very long. That’s why we were surprised to see it SO EARLY this year!

Even though its early, we can’t deny that it is lovely. If you love soft gingerbread cookies, these cookies were SUPER soft and dreamy. The buttercream was light and had just the right amount of sweet. We do wish there was a bit more caramel because it does get overpowered by the gingerbread. Overall we loved it, but we are just NOT ready to move on from pumpkin!

Although this treat is a bit early for Christmas, we did enjoy it! We are looking forward to seeing all of the Christmas treats around Walt Disney World (just not yet)! As always, we will keep you updated on all of the new snacks we find in Disney World!
