There’s a Candy Corn SURPRISE in This Halloween Cupcake in Disney World!

We’ve been eating our way around Disney World and trying ALL the pumpkin spice things and Halloween snacks!

Minnie Mouse Witch Cupcake

While we’ve seen some candy corn themed treats already, including cupcakes inspired by this classic candy, we think we’ve finally found one that is TRULY made for candy corn lovers!

Recently, we made our way over to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds and stopped by P & J’s Southern Takeout at Pioneer Hall, which now offers Mobile Ordering, to take a look at their Halloween treats.

P & J’s Southern Takeout

We found a few Halloween snacks there, including the adorable Candy Corn Cupcake!

Candy Corn Cupcake

From the outside, this looks like a fairly standard vanilla cupcake with buttercream icing, but this cupcake actually has a surprise filling inside made of…MELTED CANDY CORN!

That’s right! Candy corn fans: this one’s for you. The filling in this cupcake is absolutely delicious!! We could even taste little bits of candy corn in it. When we cut open our cupcake, we felt like one side didn’t really have as much filling as the other, so that’s something to watch out for. We would have LOVED more melted candy corn filling in there.

Aside from the fun filling, the cupcake mainly tastes like a cold Publix cake, and for those of you who have a deep love for Publix (did you know Publix socks are a thing?) or have had the pleasure of enjoying a refrigerated Publix vanilla cake, you know the deliciousness we’re describing. The ghost, pumpkin, and bat sprinkles on top are also a fun touch. Plus, the little Chip ‘n’ Dale detail is super CUTE!

Overall, we’d say this treat is a total win! The melted candy corn filling definitely takes this fairly simple cupcake to a different level. You can get this treat at P & J’s Southern Takeout for $4.99. But, the fun ain’t over yet! We tried some more Halloween treats from Fort Wilderness, including a chocolate strawberry shortcake push pop, so be on the lookout for more of our Halloween snack reviews!
