The Star Wars Hotel Really Looks Like A Starship! See The Latest in NEW Aerial Photos From Disney World!
It seems like we’re not getting a lot of updates on Disney World’s upcoming Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Hotel, although construction is still moving along.

Disney recently revealed that the hotel’s completion is still a priority for the company. And new aerial photos have just been posted that show work continues on the ambitious project.
The hotel will be located near Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and will include an immersive two-night stay/experience for guests that will land them smack dab in the middle of their own Star Wars story.

The new aerial photos reveal some of the construction updates made to the hotel over the past few months. These were posted by @bioreconstruct on Twitter. The cabins/rooms are the section on the left, with the ship’s decks — where much of the action will take place — in the larger building in the center.

An aerial view of the back of the hotel shows tents set up for construction worker meals. There are also some mysterious crates set up nearby.

A shot of the front shows the hotel’s (oddly coffin-shaped) entrance and porte cochere, as well as a walkway (indicated by the arrow — this is new).

Disney World’s website indicates the hotel will still open in 2021. Initially, reservations were supposed to open up to guests later this year. There haven’t been a lot of updates from Disney about the resort’s timeline, but we’ll let you know when we get new information!
