Photos: More Health and Safety Reminders Appear at Disneyland Resort
Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a number of changes at near and within Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park that show Disney is getting the parks ready to reopen.
Although finalized theme park reopening guidelines from the state have not been released, it looks like Disneyland is still moving forward with small changes to be prepared for when guests can enjoy the parks again.
Today, as we walked past the Disneyland ticket booths…
…we saw that some new health and safety information has been added to the loop shown on the screens attached to the booth. Specifically, the reminders note that face coverings must fully cover your nose and mouth, and must be worn at all times except when actively eating or drinking while outside, stationary, and physically distanced.
Another image reminds guests to wear a face mask, maintain physical distancing, wash your hands often, cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, and avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.
Another screen notes that Disney is utilizing enhanced safety measures for the benefit of guests and Cast Members, and that you must follow all posted instructions while visiting Disneyland Resort. It also specifies that there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present, and explains that by visiting Disneyland Resort you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
The loop we saw also includes some more generic images about restaurants and other locations in Downtown Disney.
These reminders on the Ticket Booth screens are similar to the ones we’ve seen posted in front of and within the parks. The last time we visited though, it was difficult to see the social distancing signs that had been installed in Disneyland Park. During our visit today, we got a little bit better of a view of them. You can see one on the lamppost, and another on the left side that appears to be in the planters.
It looks like Disneyland officials are working to get all of the information and areas surrounding the parks updated and ready for more guests once the happiest place on earth is allowed to reopen. We’ll be on the lookout for more Disneyland news, so be sure to come back for more updates.
